I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this car seat. It ticks off all the right boxes, making it a great choice for parents and caregivers alike. We had to get this one because our son outgrew his old car seat on the weight/height ratio, but is still over a year away from the recommended year limit. It is pretty easy to put together, though the cups were a bit flimsy when we put it together, now they seem to be ok. The 5 point harness is WAY easier to tighten than all of the other car seats we've had. We used to have difficulty tightening it once our son was strapped, but this one has been put to the test for a while now and it works flawlessly EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Overall, it is a really good car seat. It is easier than most of the other ones we had to hook up to the car's seat, especially having a child that thoroughly disliked his car seat moving when he got in or out of it (the sliding was within "acceptable" range, but still). The InRight LATCH hooks worked much easier than the the old hooks, and having the plastic allowed me to "find" the LATCH in the car without actually seeing it. The seat itself fit much closer to the car's seat than any of the previous ones we had, and along with the LATCH anchor, I think it keeps the seat in place much better with very minimal movement. As a mom, that gives me greater peace of mind. It feels quality made. I highly recommend it.

This seat has been perfect for us. The transition from harness to booster is really simple, and the headrest/harness adjustment is smooth—no messing around with rethreading straps. Installation was quick with the latch system and feels really secure. My kid is comfortable in it, even on long rides. The recline options help a lot when they fall asleep, and the fabric feels soft but durable. I also like knowing the frame is steel-reinforced and built to last for years. Overall, it’s safe, easy to use, and comfortable. Exactly what I was hoping for in a car seat.

Highly rated by Consumer Reports and Wirecutter but more importantly by my grandchild's parents. This is the best car seat I have ever put in a car. My Subaru Outback has the "Latch" system for securing car seats and it makes it very easy to put in and take out the car seat. With LATCH there is no fiddling with car's seat-belts, you just snap three latch buckles to the LATCH attachment points, tug on a couple of belts integral to the seat to cinch it down and you and your child is good to go.

The seat is great, once you get it in the car. Our kiddo is 3 years old, but outgrew his old car seat but just plain ole being too tall. Wanted something that had a 5 point so we can make will in to 4 years old before we switch to regular booster mode and this fit the bill. It goes together pretty easily. the hardest part is moving the buckle from the "smallest kid" hole to the "Big Kid" hole for the 5pt harness. Protip, push it from the back, don't pull it from the top. Everything clicks together in a satisfying way, and the seat adjustment is smooth. Easily installs with the latch system for booster mode. Our kid went from the infant seat to this one, and he likes sitting up more, and being able to see to the sides easier. I like that it is easy to move the shoulder straps to the side so he isn't sitting on them and having to fish them out each time. Also loosening the straps is silky instead of the tug of war we had with our old seats. The cup holders feel like it would take a concerted effort to remove. While they are removeable, I don't think you are going to bump them off. The cover removes easily if you pull the seat out of the car, it isn't a zipper, but the easy on and off is worth removing the seat to get it off. I think this should last us until our kiddos is old enough to no longer need a booster.

My daughter loves this seat. It’s lightweight and easy to move from car to car, fits nicely on the seat not big and bulky. Easy buckle system.

Love it! This was super easy to assemble (currently 39 weeks pregnant) and install. Our extend2fit was gross despite multiple efforts to clean it PLUS the buckle between the legs had become extremely difficult to clasp. My 4 year old has no problem buckling herself into this one. She can also get down out of it much easier. Love the no rethread. Cup holders detach for easier cleaning so that will be fantastic. It also fits her kids size owala bottle perfectly. Feels nice and cushioned. Hopefully this will last us longer than the extend2fit did!
