I had a 7 year old that really wanted a phone like her older siblings. I did some research and stumbled upon the G MEE. Upon reading about it, I thought this will be perfect and figured let's go for it. I ordered it and wasn't disappointed, she loves that she can get cool apps like her siblings and with certain apps she can even talk to family and friends face to face. Best invention ever for young kids. Love it!!! We had an issue with charging at first and the G MEE customer service team was great at helping us resolve it.

I got these for Christmas for my kids. It is easy to use and the parental functions allow me to give permissions on what apps are added and put time limits on the different apps if needed. It also allows me to control the time on the device as well so that they aren't spending all day on it. Kids love it and have connected their bluetooth headphones to listen to their music. Great first step before smart phones.

Don't waste your money on this. I bought two of them and they didn't last long. One of them will not charge and the other one will not charge fully. Neither of them will turn on. These are absolute junk.

Have brought 2 of these players 12 months apart for children. It is easy to use and uses google play which is free to setup. The parental controls allows me to ensure my children are safely using the device while giving them some independence. They connect easily to the wifi or hotspots when out. Can use plug in headphones or wireless so no problems. Love this little player because my children think it looks like a phone but can add difference apps and use for videos, music or games.

My 9- and 7-year-olds were begging for phones, which was not happening—until we found the G-Mee Play 3 Smartplayer. This has been the perfect compromise. It works just like a smartphone but without a cellular plan, which is exactly what we wanted. I love that there’s no camera, so there’s no picture taking or photo sharing to worry about. The kids can use the internet when connected to WiFi, and when they’re off WiFi their downloaded games still work, which is great for car rides and outings. The battery life is excellent for its intended use, and one of my favorite features is the parent controls. I can set time limits on all the apps, so they’re not on the device all day long. That alone makes this worth it. We also use a messenger app that works on WiFi, which allows my kids to message me when they’re at a friend’s house or when they’re home and I’m at work. It gives us peace of mind without opening the door to a full smartphone. They absolutely love their “phones,” and best of all—they’ve completely stopped asking for real smartphones. Highly recommend for parents looking for a safe, controlled alternative.
