Great replacement after I lost my spring that came with my weed whacker. This spring helps to feed the cord through the spindle, when it gets too short. Easy to replace and great price for three. Fit correctly.

Fit and works great

I lost my original spring while unjamming the string on the trimmer head. So I ordered this set. Installed and it worked just as good as the original one.

Beautiful spring. It didn't fit my application(not Roybi), but let me give you the measurements: OD = 1.114" (28.30mm) Len = 1.693"(43.00mm) Dia = 0.073"(1.83mm)

Okay, it definitely didn't save my marriage. We have a fantastic relationship. But when my gorgeous, awesome wife, who enjoys doing yardwork, asked me to figure out why the trimmer wasn't working right after she reloaded the line, I immediately saw that the spring was missing. I asked her where it was and she looked at me like I was an idiot for expecting her to know there was a spring. 😂 We searched all around where she said she had changed it and never did find it (even to this day, a month or so later). In that moment I felt that it was the sort of stupid problem that could send lesser couples spiraling toward divorce, and I felt grateful once again that we have each other. I went to two hardware stores to find an appropriate replacement in their drawers of springs, but there was nothing even close. I have a machine shop so I could make my own but I found this 3 pack and there's no way I'm going to spend the time making my own when these are so readily available and cheap. This 3 pack is basically the same price as one OEM. Anyway, don't get divorced if your spouse (either gender) loses the spring. Just buy a 3 pack of replacements and appreciate that they were helping with the yard instead of scrolling endlessly on Tik Tok or whatever else like many other people's spouses.

Popped right into the head of my ryobi brushless whacker and fixed the auto feed feature. I.e. without the spring, cord will feed without heed. Once you pop this back in, it engages the locking mechanism to stop auto feed. When you are ready to feed more line, tap the spinning head to the ground while operating and the depressed spring allows more to feed.

Bump feed on Ryobi RY252CS (should work for RY252SS as well) stopped working which is where frustration meets infuriating as the string becomes single use and you have to manually open up the spool to get more line. This very inexpensive spring is all it took to fix.

Tad Expensive but it does the job well.
