Great quality- used on a shaman drum and it did great with the stretching- good strength and soft to hold. EDITED! After buying possibly six or seven bags of these and having great success, I had one that every time I tried to tie in a knot it would break so that was very disappointing because I felt like this product was reliable. I am hoping that any further purchases are not a waste of money.

I bought these to use for softball/baseball glove lace leather for replacing because this type was a tad thicker than the other types. I also use the leather to install under by bat grips to add raised grip between my fingers on all my bats and this leather does the job. Very nice product for a lot of different uses at a great price.

My goto cordage for renfaires - fairly serious historical enthusiast, always need more cordage for something. Strong enough to hold a sword to a belt, looks good.

Edit: Customer service reached out after posting a review and offered some options to address issues I had with the product. Pretty impressed with them in this regard and have adjusted feedback in accordance. The tensile strenth is more appropriate for decoration than strength. Easy to snap in your hands - roughly the tensile strength of a plastic bag. Purchaced to replace the laces of a pair of boat shoes. The tool included was excellent for that purpose. Laces snapped while tying them though. Pulled a sample of the other leather cord from the package and gave some mild tugs - cord parted very readily. It is nice looking cord, just not strong/durable at all. Cord used was dark brown variety.

Good quality, very supple and easy to work with. Keep them in the bag if they come in it will keep them fresh and nimble every time you need to cut a piece or use it.

Worked out just fine. Have used it for a few things and it did great.

I find the leather seems weaker or of poorer quality. I've pulled on the lace a couple of times and pulled it apart. The leather is from a poor source or is just too dried out. Or I'm far stronger than I even know.

I used these leather strips as lace as per the product title. They broke twice in the first two weeks, leaving me stranded away from home BOTH TIMES!!! These sellers owe me an apology. And a refund.
