Does what it's supposed to works very well when paired with sodium benzonate, I use it as a preservative for sugar-based soda syrups, is a fairly simple mathematical calculation of just taking each one of the two preservatives by weight and dissolving them into a given amount of distilled water, this product dissolves very easily in lukewarm water, and yield it clear preservative liquid, so far I've had it in a Bottle on my shelf for about 6 months as a solution and it seems to work quite well. I would suggest dissolving it in water before use also having a pH meter handy is very important, as the pH of whatever you're using must be below 4.5, or else it will not work.
