Gravity MSQC 1 B Quick Coupler for Mic Clips and Boom Arms (GMSQC1B)

I don't know why but it seems like all quick releases are expensive. These were not the cheapest but not the most expensive and they're very consistent among the multiples that I have bought and are pretty sturdy. I like that they're all black with subtle green name. I wish the adapter ring was black as well and a little bit higher quality but I still bought multiples of these. There is one modification that I decided to do. I got some of that craft foamy board that's I think is 1/8" thick and adhesive backed, I cut circles out and stuck it on the inside of the receiving coupler. It made the little bit of jiggle and rattle go away with the trade-off of having to make sure it snaps in. They are a little heavy so I wouldn't recommend use with boom poles these are more for the mic stand stage and studio end of things.

Great value for the price. They seem well made & sturdy. I've been using them for a few months now & have had no problems. Looking at some other reviews, there may be a qc issue, so I may have been lucky.

It doesn't snap as snug as I'd hoped but it still does the job, although there's a little bit of wobble.

This product enables me to move my microphones between multiple locations easily. Had to buy two of them, but the utility it provides means I don't have to buy more expensive microphones when I can just carry one between two locations.

this makes it so much quicker to use when setting up audio for a video shoot! no more having to twist a shotgun mic holder on and off. totally worth it.

If you have a music studio and have multiple microphones these are a must. What a Time saver. They work great and are easy to install on your microphone stand. They work with any type of microphone.

Ok, so this is a great idea! Quick adapter to easily and quickly build and breakdown equipment. However, not so well. I went through THREE of these via Amazon Returns. The first had a loose spring that jingled around, NO I do not need that right next to my mic. The second one was super hard to open and close I had to use both hands, not ideal, the third opened super easily but then jammed and would not close. Its not worth it for me to go though the hassel to order a fourth. It feels like a strong product but the insides are extremely questionable. Im sure they have some units in stock that work fine, but they really need to step up there quality control.

Decent enough for general use. Doesn't always engage 100% of the time, but as long as you spot and correct this, it is fine.
