Great 3d printer
It is a fun machine. i had some problems getting it to connect to my wifi but it just could not connect. I wrote to sculpto on their facebook page where did immediately responded and helped me out. Im not sure what the problem was, but they were able to fix it somehow really easily, so maybe I did something wrong. The customer service I wrote to on facebook was really great. However now that it works im finding the Sculpto 3d printer to be an excellent device. This is not my first 3d printer, I have had the XYZ da Vinci 3d printer before this. In comparison, the Sculpto+ is just an incredible more enjoyable 3d printer. It just works right out of the box unlike my experience with the XYZ, which was not great. Really recommend the Sculpto.

Top price for less build volume but easier to to set up with app
I am a complete novice to 3D printing so went for the Sculpto despite the high price tag. Needed a fully assembled printer. One pays around £100 extra for a fully assembled printer but thought it worthwhile as I have been daunted by the unassembled and semi assembled printers. The app is the main advantage as you can do everything from your Iphone. I found following the directions not as simple as I thought. Feeding in the filament took several attempts before I got it right. I finally did manage to print a test model but alas that has got stuck onto the plate. In summary the printer is expensive for the build volume, it is totally dependent on the app but for a complete novice it does work. Good as a start up printer fpr beginners, at least those who can afford the expense.

Think very hard before purchase
As per other reviews I confirm that this printer is easy to use out of the box. However there are several downsides that you should consider before purchasing. 1. You are forced to use Sculpto filament which can be as much as twice the cost of other makes unless you wish to change your printer to expert mode. If you do use other makes of filament you invalidate your warranty. 2. If you do change the printer to expert mode to use other filaments then the printer is no more easy than any other printer to use. 3. The sculpto printer has a nozzle size of .6mm, most other printers have .4mm nozzles. This means that Sculpto prints are less detailed than others and layer lines are more obvious. 4.sculpto customer service response times are in my experience dreadful. In one instance in response to an email for support I received no reply for several weeks, I then received an email advising that they were so far behind in responding to emails for support that they were not attempting to answer those that were outstanding. If help was still needed I should resend the enquiry.i had resolved the problem weeks before with help from users on Facebook. 5. The build quality of the printer is questionable. I had two build plates fail due to the magnets on the bottom coming loose I believe this is inevitable due to the design and the vibration of the machine in use. I understand they have just released a newly designed plate at additional cost, I cannot comment on wether this will resolve this issue. 6. The printer has to be connected to Sculpto servers to work, therefore should the company fail and their servers go down the printer would be rendered useless. Sculpto being a small company this to me when I realised the situation was a concern to me. It maybe that if this were to happen Sculpto could open up the printer to change the way it operates but this is by no means clear. Whilst I have learnt a lot about 3d printing by owning this printer regrettably I cannot recommend its purchase.

Setup, Browse and Print Straight from your Phone
I’ve been interested in 3D printers for a while but dont have enough time to build one of the kits, or £1000’s for the big brand ready made. This is just what I was waiting for. Plug and Play with an amazing companion app that walks you through everything. Looks nice and solid build. You can browse ‘Thingiverse’ and print straight from the app. No computer required! I expect there’s printers that will print faster or slightly finer detail, But I’m the type of person who likes 90% results for 10% hassle. See pics. Note: This is a replacement unit as I had some issues with the first one I received, but had some great support from a guy called Martin who replied to my email within the 24 hours they target. Hope this review is helpful 🙂

No-nonsense 3D printing
Just finished my first 3D prints on the Sculpto printer. Easy installation, user-friendly app, and out-of-the-box 3D printing at home made easy with no assembly, and very easy setup. Highly recommended for convenience, quality, print speed, and low noise. It's extremely easy to get going with this 3D printer compared to all other brands I've tried. And the quality is even better than other printers in this price range. On the picture I've shown a filament holder (2 parts), a whistle, and a headphone stand (2 parts), all printed in medium quality. My kids aged 7, 11, and 13 all managed to print these on their own, changing filament and manage the prints themselves.

Great fun for the whole family!
I never owned a 3d printer before this Sculpto, and im really impressed with it. My son and daughter LOVE it to bits, and its basically going almost 24/7 at this point. The items it prints are of really great quality, I'm super impressed by it. The app that comes with the printer makes 3d printing super easy.

Collectibulldogs.com goes 3D
Love it the sculpto maybe for beginners but our museum at collectibulldogs.com can utilise this cool piece of kit, new to 3D printing I find myself staring at drying glue instead of watching our brand new tv lol. Recommend for beginners like me

Works right out of the box
This is really a plug n play 3D Printer - you can just take it out of the box and start printing, I am really happy about it.

Let me start with what works well, the device in itself is quite ready to use out of the box, and if you stick to the given settings. >It is awesome for people who absolutely do not want to deal with the printer in itself. >This had literally the least noise I have heard from an open printer in this range. >The build is rigid and I loved the magnetic build-plate adhesion. Now, on to the things that go bump. > As far as print quality goes it is great only as long as you have sculpto filament and your print doesn't go into the centre part, anything else will show some to drastic deviations in quality, and bed adhesion. which ultimately destroyed my printer. when I let it run overnight. > Success Rate: I honestly never managed to get more than a 50% success rate for large sculptures which are normally >8 hr prints temperature shifts, a slight wind, tends to damage the print and since the print continuously experiences torsion instead of pure pressure from the nozzle, the print can peel off and block the arm. > The printer actually never manages to completely cover the whole build area which can be problematic. > The app is actually very limited and cannot support any alternate types of support patterns other than the ones fed in by default. > there's a file size limit for uploaded STLs so it's hard to have high-resolution files. Overall, while this was fun to toy with it initially but is not really worth the money, and despite the ingenuity, it's quite hard to reliably keep printing things in general.
