Well, I never thought I would be leaving a review for something like this, but here I am! As a man of 60, who is very active and loves to hike and walk long miles everyday, long drives, etc. these have really been incredibly helpful and life affirming. Okay, this will sound strange: I may not end up “using” them every time I am on a hike, but they give me that extra confidence and let me not be embarrassed if I am out with a group of friends or on a steep run and I can concentrate on safety and my surroundings. Our bodies are machines and sometimes we just need a little extra help as things wear out a bit. I have tried various other brands and forms of these prior and have found these to be perfect. Comfortable, absorbent and not too bulky and sticks well to undergarment. Nicely designed for men, appreciated! Not noticeable at all under my workout gear. Looks great under a nice pair of jeans, just a little oomph ;) So there you go! Embrace being human guys, no shame and enjoy getting out in this world.

This is bait and switch advertising - which happens to be illegal. The package CLEARLY shows 144 pads and the price per pad shown of $0.12 (144 x 0.12 = $17.98) reinforces the 144 count as advertised. But when it arrived, it was a package of 48m NOIT 144.

Let me start off with the most emphatic "You should buy this..." possible. I have multiple sclerosis. On top of affecting my walking and my memory, I'm unlucky enough to have the odd bladder issue here and there. Mostly when it comes to getting enough warning that I don't need to run for the nearest bathroom before I have an accident, and I have, unfortunately, had accidents... These guards have saved me no less than TWICE from utter embarrassment and discomfort. They're incredibly easy to put on — they have an adhesive strip you stick to the inside of your underwear so that the pad is hugged against your body (they won't work for loose boxers, just any kind of underwear that's relatively snug against your body) — and they really, really, *REALLY* work... I tried the lighter absorbency ones at first. They're great if you just need an extra couple seconds to pull your pants down or unzip your fly before you have an accident. These? Even if you have an accident, odds are your pants *AND* your boxers will be just as dry as before. I couldn't believe how absorbent they were the first time I needed them to save my life, but they absolutely took a bullet for me. Personally, I don't see any visual difference between the two when I look below my belt — that is to say, even this much more absorbent model is just as discrete as the thinner, less absorbent one — but if you're somewhere you don't have access to a bathroom, like if you were a block from home and you were running out of energy and were basically going to end up crawling home, THESE are the guards you want. Discrete, absorbent, and just as affordable as the other model, I make sure to travel with spares just in case I'm caught unaware. They're nowhere near as bulky or degrading — I'm sure many, many people think this way — as full on diapers, so as long as your incontinence is purely liquid and not solid, I CANNOT recommend these enough. Please, please, PLEASE do yourself the favour of trying these out. The first time they come in clutch and save you in an emergency, you'll thank yourself thinking ahead. 5/5 because I can't give it more than five stars.

It does the job well. The adhesive is narrow compared to the size of the guard. One has to vary the position. I place mine lower than instructed. I add hospital tape to the edges to keep it from detaching. Once it detaches you’ll have to replace it.
