I bought this for £4.99 when it was on the Black Friday Deal with 29% off (regular price stated as £7.99). I was a bit sceptical and nervous about this, as I’d never attempted colouring my eyebrows myself at home. I’m in my 50’s and have always had very fair brows as I was naturally blonde (now grey, but dying my hair blonde). I have fair skin so decided to opt for the Dark Blonde. I think the blonde would be too orangey for me. The dark blonde was perfect. I was worried it would be tricky as I’m not great at doing makeup and brow shaping etc…..I’ve never been one for spending hours getting ready in the mirror. I just wanted to save more time by not needing to use brow pencils or gel colours every day which I’m rubbish at applying. This kit was SOOOOOOOO easy. Even I could do it. For 2 brows a tiny blob (smaller than a tic-tac size for the squeeze tube) then about two drops of the gel, mixed up in the little packaging pallet dish, then brush it through the brows evenly. On the very first time I was very cautious as I didn’t know how the colour would take or if it would make a mess or stain my skin. I needn’t have worried it was easy. I also didn’t leave it on too long. The next day I didn’t think they were dark enough so reapplied it again, but left it on a bit longer this time. The results this time we’re much better, and more the colour I was looking for. Next time I’ll be braver. I just need to go to the salon now to get them shaped and I’ll be a happy bunny. This colour was perfect for a blonde with fair skin. So glad I didn’t go brown. I much prefer natural brows to these slug bushy brows that seem to be the thing at the moment. They’re not me at all. Was very easy to apply. Took about 6 mins to take. Easily wiped off with cotton wool pad and miscellier water. No staining to skin. No irritation at all. I’m really chuffed with the results. This small kit is gonna last years and years……unless it dries out first. Very happy with this product. Would definitely buy again, but I think it all be a while. Much cheaper than going to a salon too. Happy days.

I have light brown hair slightly lighter brows. They are not very bushy so I’ve never had strong brows. For years I had brow tattoos done. Having had them lasered off last year, I won’t go down that route again. (for info, I would totally advise to think very carefully before getting tattoo brows. The MUAs tend to go with the shape they want and their gallery photos are generally misleading as the photos are directly after treatment are not representative of the longer term result. Laser removal does not completely remove them so you are stuck with them long long term. But that’s a whole other story.). Back to this tint. I originally bought the dark brown and then the dark blonde. The dark brown was a good strong result but it did tint my skin (under my brows) quite a bit. So it was great for a strong look but still looked natural. More of a powder brow look. The skin tint washes out as soon as you shower though so it does not last. Good for a night out or event if you want that look. The dark blonde is a much better result for my colouring. It’s not blonde by any means and is definitely ‘brown’ but that’s what I wanted. Thankfully it didn’t go red/orange as I had feared. I tend to re-tint every 7-10 days to keep up the look. This product is cheap enough to use that regularly. It’s much less hassle than pencilling daily. I use the tint on the lighter hairs below my brows and have also stopped plucking my brows apart from the very odd stray ones. I’m embracing my own fluffy brows that I didn’t even know I had. That’s the other thing with brow tattoos, you still have your own hair above them which can look odd and unnatural. In terms of usage of this particular product, I do not follow the markings on the tube. I put a small blob in the mixer bit and then 5 drops (rather than the 10 on the instructions) of the solution. This covers both my brows easily. Yes I 100% recommend this product. It is good value and good result. It is fairly short term but it’s hard to maintain eyebrow tint colour so, as long as you manage your expectations, you won’t be disappointed. Even salon brow tint does not last much past 2 weeks.

This is easy to use and does the trick. But for dark blonde read dark brown

Works well, without being too dark.
