OTTOCAST Mini 2025 2-in-1 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter, 5GHz WiFi, Auto Connect for 2016+ Cars

I purchased a super cheap adapter before but the signal strength was so weak it wouldn't work with my phone in my pocket. This adapter has great signal strength. It has worked with all the famy apple phones without issues. The size of this adapter is tiny and will fit any opening in the car. I didn't need an extension cables like my old model. I have had zero lag issues so far. This adapter has worked with every app that I needed it to. It was super easy to connect to my phone and my car. It has all the typical adjustments and settings.

Bought 2. One for CarPlay on a Mazda cx-5 and the other to replace a dead Moto MA-1 for Android Auto on a VW GTI. First one failed to connect bluetooth successfully after multiple attempts and resets in the CX-5 and took a few tries on the VW but eventually got it going. 2nd one connected straight away on the cx-5. Works as expected on both now.

Works seamlessly 99% of the time, took a star off because it glitches on rare occasions and wont connect but simply unplugging and plugging the device back in fixed that. No apparent lag or quality issues with music, everything sounds great. It beats having to connect a wire everytime, definitely recommend this.

I have waited 60 days to write a review. This is my 5th or 6th device I have purchased from different brands/make in the last 4 yrs to get wireless carplay for my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All previous ones went into the garbage can at the 2-3 week mark so I had no great expectations for this one. Man was I wrong. I've had no issues whatsoever. Easy to synch and once sync'ed as soon as I show up with my iphone, the device picks up Apply Car Play. Once connected, I've had no drops, interference, lag time or latency. Flawless connection. I hight recommend this product.

Love this thing. I put it in my 21 Rav4 that has the JBL system, but you had to plug it in to use Carplay. I put this in and it was so simple to activate and use. You can put two on at a time, and switch between them if needed. Also, if you loan out the car, whoever has it can quickly add their phone and use carplay by turning on bluetooth, etc.. It's a great product! Thank you!

This is a nice product to be used in the car. Can get rid of the clumsiness of the cables in the cabin. Working fine without any lag so far. Connects instantly. Even maps also working as expected without any lag. Will post my review after few days of the usage.

I’m reporting back after installing the Ottocast Mini 2025 2-in-1 wireless CarPlay adapter in my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia with the non-touchscreen infotainment system. This model works perfectly. CarPlay loads reliably, and the rotary control knob works exactly as it should once CarPlay starts — no lag, no compatibility issues, and no frozen screens. Connection time is fast, and I’ve had zero drops so far. For anyone with a Giulia or another vehicle that uses a control knob (instead of a touchscreen), this adapter is fully compatible. Highly recommended if you want wireless CarPlay without losing knob control.

Love not having a cord, Easy set up, works as expected. Small delay when pausing or starting audio. Very hard to disconnect a second phone when both are in the car.

I've had this now for 2 months with no issues. It connects fairly quickly, and if you have 2 iPhones, you can connect them both and switch fairly easily with the button. The switch will take 20-30 seconds as it will completely reboot.

This wireless usb adapter works fantastic with android and ios device in Mazda Cx5 2019. Device once connected, gets reconnected quickly in android auto mode.

I tried a few wireless CarPlay adaptors, but this is the best one I’ve found for my 2021 Kia Telluride. Why? 1. It supports two devices/drivers seamlessly (my partner and I switch vehicles often) 2. It connects quickly and keeps connection 3. It has a small footprint 4. Audio quality is solid for music 5. It comes with the needed adaptors (90-degree, usb-c) I’ll elaborate on the best part - multi-device support. This is the only dongle I found with a dedicated button to switch users. That said, you’ll rarely need it as it automatically connects to the last device. If not found it connects to the second device. If you are both in the car and you want to switch users, simply press the button. This avoids any resets, pulling out the dongle, messing with Bluetooth connections on your phone. Brilliant. One quick pointer: Delete the Bluetooth connection to your car (from both your car & phone). If you don’t your phone will connect to both your car and this dongle, sometimes resulting in the audio being routed incorrectly. For example It will look like music is playing but nothing is coming through. As soon as I did this it works 100% of the time.
