Setup took less than five seconds, no pairing issues or extra steps. It worked right away, which is exactly what I wanted since that’s why I held off buying a replacement for so long. Functionally, it feels the same as the original and all buttons respond as expected. The only noticeable difference is that it doesn’t have the LG logo on the bottom, so it doesn’t look like an official LG remote. If you don’t care about branding and just want something that works immediately, this is a solid replacement.

This is a great remote for our LG TV. The remote may outlast the TV because it functions better than our TV. Batteries last a long time, months for us. I'm sure that depends on how many kids you have. Battery cover comes off a little easier than I prefer, otherwise its pretty great.

this remote works fantastic! This is actually my second time buying the exact same one. The first one I bought a few years ago yes YEARS! After my TV remote stopped working I needed a replacement and found this one. I was a bit nervous. I thought it was gonna be a pain to set up. It was a matter of plugging it in and letting the TV do the work for the most part. When I bought the TV five years ago, it did not have the voice feature that this remote has. Saves me a bit of time when searching. It doesn’t always understand me, but it’s a lot faster than typing in all the words using the keypad with the up-and-down arrows. Of course it’s helpful too because it has the Netflix button and the Amazon prime button saving me a little bit of time to get around The first one I bought was great, except we kept dropping it on the tile floor all the time. We would tape it up and it would work. Then we drop it again and repeat. For some reason, somebody’s always tossing it and then missing it and it lands on the floor and another plastic piece would break off, but the thing would still work well eventually, it gave up the ghost when we were down to half the thing missing ! I was so glad to see that they still make this although it seems like it’s updated. When I plugged it in the TV recognized it and I did nothing else but let the TV do its thing and we were set! No hesitation this thing is worth it. Same with the TV, which is more than 6 years old and working great - even though now the same size is less than half the price ha ha

Easy to use and hooks up to tv smoothly. Bought as a replacement for our other broken one. Won’t last more than a year cause they break easily even with covers that we buy due to being dropped off the couch onto the floor. Battery area springs loosen and hard to keep batteries where they need to be to work remote.

The 'transmitter' is a little stronger / effective than the Samsung OEM original which is what i was hoping for :) No more having to point DIRECTLY at TV hoping for the best. Navigating through my TV menus / channels is done much more efficiently with this remote over the OEM. It fits well in the hand and another welcomed benefit is No More Batteries to keep replacing. Good job :).

I bought this remote for a good price. I'm giving it 4 stars because of that, as it serves the purpose. I'm not giving 5 stars because it doesn't function correctly at times, primarily due to it's sensitivity. It's hard to push the center wheel to select something, as it tends to scroll as well. Sometimes I move the remote on my table, without touching any buttons, and it turns the tv on. Usually when I turn the tv off, it increases the channel by one. Regardless, it is worth it to deal with these inconsistencies due to the value.

Pretty good remote, the voice part is a little iffy. The rotary toggle in the middle is way too sensitive! But other than that I'm learning how to deal with it.

Our new puppy chewed up or original remote so we ordered a new one. Perfect match and easy instructions. Fast delivery also.
