Dried Fruit Tray

I had one of these dried fruit trays sent to my friend who was returning home after a hip replacement, and she gave glowing reviews on the contents---so much so, that I decided to have one sent to my home for a valentine gift to my hubby. She was spot on!! Every piece of fruit was tasty and "fresh"---remembering it's dried fruit---but moist, chewy, flavorful, triple quality fruit!!! The choices were varied, but good quantities of each type, and tray stocked well enough to keep two fruit lovers happy for a week, or more!

INEDIBLE!! EVERYthing in this GIFT was stale!! Only the dried apricots were somewhat edible, all the other dried fruit was too stiff to even chew. Just AWFUL! ALL of the nuts were stale. Not just 'slightly' but a COMPLETE waste of money!

You Get a Lot for Your Money and, good quality. Now, I'm just sort of a spoiled picky person. I go to specialty stores and pay a lot more for specific selections of some of the kinds of fruit in this assortment. Where I shop I get much larger and plumper apricots as example. Same with some of the other selections in this assortment. HOWEVER I sometimes pay as much for single fruit selections than the price of this whole big assortment from Amazon. I'm very willing to sacrifice that much extra quality with its much extra price once in a while for the real bargain this assortment provides. And, when it comes to dried fruit - it comes in all different sizes. And, a smaller less plump apricot as example doesn't necessarily translate into an inferior product. It just means it's smaller. Pretty much just as good and, certainly an exceptional bargain with this assortment. This assortment is beautifully arranged, you get a lot for your money and the product itself is very good quality. A few years ago I returned an assortment of a different brand that was less in quality and cost more, to the warehouse store where I bought it because the fruit were not of acceptable quality for me. You'll find this product fully acceptable, very tasty and quite a good bargain.

This gift was received by a relative. He enjoyed the nuts, however, he did not like the dried fruits. He and others found them to be hard, and tasteless. He thought they were stale.

It came in the basket displayed. Basket isn't quite as sturdy as I had hoped. Did come plastic wrapped and with a bow so that was cute. Each individual food type was wrapped so that let me know that nothing would go stale and it was shipped properly. There appeared to be a lot less fruit than was in the original listing in my opinion. Overall a good purchase however and I would recommend. I looked through a lot of fruit and nut baskets before I found this one and I do not regret the purchase.

I ordered it for my mother in law, who loves dried fruit....she ADORED this basket. She's in her 70's and actually said "YAY I love it! " as soon as she saw it lolol. its arranged very pretty and she said the fruits all taste great
