Do not waste your money like I did! The release mechanism DOES NOT work. The elastic strap doesn’t keep water from leaking out. It doesn’t even have a rubber gasket to seal it closed! I put SEVERAL scrunchies around it to keep it closed. Before you ask I didn’t feel right using it and returning it so I just wasted 17$

I've been looking at these water bottles for a while because the idea of having ice you can just pop into your drink seems like a great idea. I live with someone who is an ice addict, so I thought this would be an ideal solution to keeping her in ice. Admittedly, I bought this water bottle without looking at the reviews on Amazon. That was a mistake. First of all, the bottle has a very small ice tray that produces a very limited amount of ice, which would disappoint someone who loves icy drinks. The ice does pop out easily. Second, the part that has the ice attaches to the rest of the bottle and is only kept together with an elastic band. If the band slips or stretches out, the water will leak out. You would get soaked. If you had cherry pop or red wine in it, you would be a real mess in case of leakage. In its new state, the bottle works ok, but I don’t trust it at all. The negatives overwhelm the novelty!

The one I received leaks as soon as water is put in it from the part that the ice cubes are made in! Super disappointing.

I really like this two-in-one ice bottle design. After making ice cubes, you can use it as a bottle directly. Just pour the drink into the bottle. It combines a water cup and an ice tray into one. The result is a good seal, no need to worry about leaks, and it is easy to carry.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've seen this before and I finally decided to get it and give it a try Ice quality: The ice cubes are small, and can melt easily. I would recommend. Design: It is a unique. I like how big it is. It feels fun to hold and I love the shape. Ease of use: Very easy to use. I like how the ice cubes aren't difficult to remove. I like that the mechanism pops them out at the same time. Durability: It's very durable, but I would recommend using the band and making sure the lid is secure.

It's a nice concept, but I mostly just use it for the ice tray and use the part that makes it a water bottle as an ice tray. I don't know that I'd trust it as a water bottle to be honest, the sides line up pretty well but I think it would leak. But for making smaller ice cubes that freeze fairly quickly, it's great for that. And pressing down on the tray to get the ice cubes out works pretty well, you just have to put in on a firm surface, like the counter and lean into it.
