Exactly what I've wanted for my home lab servers, easy "bolt-in" IPMI with all the basic bells and whistles you need to manage the hardware from scratch. Absolutely worth if like me you hate having to go to the cabinet all the time whenever there's a failure.

This thing is brilliant. It single handedly brought the price of an internal ipkvm down from $350+ to $80. No need to buy raspberry pi CM modules or anything. Not only does the hardware work really well, but the software is an absolute breeze. I didn't even know that it has integrated tailscale VPN in the software, which makes it dead simple to access the device over the internet. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the hardware installation documentation, which is a bit confusing in terms of wiring the header wires. It's just not very clear.

Works great! Love using this to remote manage my server as I do not have to have a keyboard and mouse hooked up to it. Updating the firmware on it was easy enough and I did not have to update the SD card files at all. Only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because I feel like the USB-C power port is too close to the HDMI port and the HDMI to Display cable I have is very thick preventing me from being able to use the power port. If the HDMI cable is not fully seated into the port you will not get a display output (took some slight trial and error to figure this out). Luckily for me the cheap Chinese motherboard I hooked it up to allowed PCI-E power passthrough even when the computer is powered down. I feel like that power port could easily be relocated by simply putting the port on the end and with the low profile bracket just have it occupy 2 slots instead of one to put the power port on top when in low profile mode.

The pcie KVM works great (no poe) and gets power from the goldfinger pins even if the system is powered off! Controlling devices works easily out of the box and simplifies device management. Cheaper than buying direct on aliexpress!

Works perfectly. Powered by my motherboard's PCIe slot, even when my PC is turned off. Super easy to install. Check the project website for documentation since it ships with virtually none.
