I got the small one initially, but it didnt fit a water bottle of any size, so I got the large one. The large one shows a chug jug bottle which typically are between 24-32 oz on average. The netting is still tights. I dont think I will be able to fit my water bottle in it once I have stuff in the bag. However, the large bag is a bit better size so I may just be able to link my water bottle to it with a carabiner if it comes to that. But this part bummed me out. It will fit smaller water bottles however like a 20oz plastic size one. The rest of the bag is a great size. It's perfect for going off trail and carrying just your essentials without getting too bogged down. I have a large backpack that is just too much for that, and I also have a basic drawstring bag, but it's a mess and hard to find things. This backpack hopefully help me keep things better organized on light packs so I can find things faster. I really love that the middle pocket has slots I can put my folding knives, forceps, and other things so they dont get lost at the bottom of the bag.

Definitely a great purchase, the only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the mesh on the bottle holder tore after a few uses. Other than that, the rest of the bag seems to be of great quality. I like that I can walk along the banks of local ponds and creeks casting and have all my gear with me. I can keep divider boxes in the main pouch and my soft baits all together in the second pouch. I’m a pretty big guy and it fits perfectly not to snug and doesn’t restrict me from moving around.

The bag itself has a very good quality build, however some of its features I didn’t enjoy. The storage capacity and amount of compartments were great! The turn off were that the straps were zippered and that the pivot point is in the center of the bag, meaning it wouldn’t hold well. Another flaw was the patch space, its not even velcro but a fleece material.

Way smaller then the advertising description. They show it next to the standard like it's ALOT bigger when really the standard must be a fanny pack. Supposedly the standard can hold 2 3600 tackle boxes and so you would assume the large version could hold 2 3700 size boxes. Well it does but its a tight fit with no room for anything else. My old Ozark trail bag that I paid $28 at Walmart is a "large" backpack and it could hold 4 3700s in main compartment, a bait finder full of soft plastics in the second Velcro compartment, small terminal box on the side where a water bottle goes but instead of making it only for a water bottle they had the bright idea of making it a pull string so you can fit just about anything and tighten. Not limit that slot for only a water bottle like they have done with this backpack. And on the other side I could fit 2 spools of line one mono one fluoro and they still managed to have a rod holder on that side that was just positioned off to the side of that compartment. It also lasted for 2 years this has yet to hit the water to test for durability but I'm expecting it to exceed 2 years if a $28 Ozark trail backpack can. Frustrating these companies trick you with fake pictures and gimmicky non sense. A large backpack should be just that not what I would call a standard backpack which is what I was trying to avoid by selecting LARGE!

Been using this bag for almost a year now- perfect size to keep in the back of the car but large enough for a couple boxes of tackle/ lures and extras as well. My first ever fishing backpack and I'm more than satisfied!
