This doesn’t have an Australian outlet plug

Not sure why this is being sold on Amazon Australia when the plug is not compatible with Australian sockets.

So I picked this up in mid-May—right after a big, beautiful deep clean. Had the windows open for hours—great airflow, very fresh—but then the fruit flies showed up. A total invasion. I mean, it was like they were invited. Disgusting! I’ve used those big zappers before. You know the ones—with the loud popping and cracking. Very dramatic, very annoying. Not a fan. This one? Totally different. It’s got a soft blue light—very elegant, very calm. You don’t hear a thing, and yet it goes to work immediately. Within a few days, it caught five or six fruit flies I didn’t even know were there. Amazing! Set-up? Easiest thing you’ve ever seen. You just plug it in. That’s it. The glue cards? Last a long time—I haven’t even changed one yet. I put one in the kitchen and another in the garage. Very smart. Very strategic. Now, let’s be honest—it doesn’t do much for big house flies. You leave the door open like it’s a hotel lobby, they walk right in. This isn’t for them. But for fruit flies? This is the solution. I tried sprays, ugly soil traps, sticky strips—complete disasters. This? Actually works. No noise. No smell. No mess. And the price? Fantastic. Very affordable. You look at other traps, they cost more and do less. This one’s a winner. Big win. If you’ve got fruit flies, trust me—this is the trap. It’s doing a tremendous job. Everyone’s talking about it. Believe me.

I really like this 2-in-1 plug-in fly trap — it’s great at catching fruit flies, and I love that it hides the dead flies so it doesn’t look messy. The light attracts them well, and cleanup is easy. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of space on the outlet, so you can’t plug anything else into the outlet next to it. Overall, it works really well and keeps my kitchen fly-free!

So this does work well to catch and kill some bugs. It is easy to use and to replace the sticky trap. It also has a nice motion sensor light option. My major complaint is that while it caught moths. fruit flies, and a few other insects. It never caught mosquitos. This was my primary reason for purchasing it because we had a large number of mosquitos getting into the house. But over a month it never caught one. Meanwhile it caught everything else. I'm not sure if it was just bad luck or if the light doesn't attract them. Either way it was surprising to see just how many flying insects it caught... EXCEPT mosquitos!
