Overall, Red Heart has always been my favorite with price and quality in mind. I've always enjoyed the Super Saver line, and having the option to buy Super Saver Jumbo makes it easy for larger projects like blankets (which are what I primarily crochet on a daily basis). For me, it takes 2-3 jumbo skeins to make a blanket. The colors are always vibrant and beautiful. I've never had any issues with dye lots or yarn quality. I really like that Red Heart Yarn is made in the USA. I would say Red Heart is one of the best brands that I've ever tried. Review: ... even though I saw the flag on the label in the picture...I was one of the "lucky" ones that got skeins MADE IN TURKEY! Sad to see another American icon becoming an import. I think it should be made clear where the product being ordered is coming from. The flag led me to assume, yes, I know that what that means. Turkey makes some very fine yarns so perhaps this move will put the quality of sturdiness back into this more affordable yarn that many have found missing over the years.

I have been doing a lot of crocheting to make blankets for the grandkids, and I love the prices on the super size yarn. I have a few more grandkids, so will be ordering more yarn! Thanks!

I just started crocheting again after many year of taking care of my disabled brother who has sadly passed. I needed something to take my mind off of his loss and I have to say that the size of these and the price is unbeatable. The price to me is the best part since I am now retired and have a limited income.

I love red heart products, use them more than any other brand yarn, and if this was the first tine this had happened id say nothing, BUT this last skein of royal blue had about a 2 inch frayed section of yarn. Now I know that may not seem like a big deal but to other crocheter's & knitter's perhaps you can understand my frustration at having to to cut what would have been uninterrupted work. This is not the quality control I expect from such a wonderfully respected brand.
