These are high quality replacements for the original sticks and work perfectly, even with the deadzones in games completely turned down to 0. They should last basically forever too. Definitely worth the price. The replacement stick caps feel a bit low quality, so I just reused the ones that were on the controller to begin with. Don't be intimidated by having to solder these on. Soldering is extremely easy and you can learn how to do it from watching a couple YouTube videos. Desoldering factory solder is a bit trickier, but you could probably go to an electronic repair shop and have them install the new sticks for somewhat cheap if you don't want to figure it out yourself.

This product works very well, I have high hopes that stick drift possibility will be eliminated entirely but only time will tell me that, I will update in a couple of months. As for now there is a trade off that buyers should be aware of and that is that these sticks require you to use the thumb-stick provided, it doesn’t screw on like the factory sticks instead it pushes on directly. It makes me concerned that it will come off during gameplay. This also takes away the ability to swap out the magnet sticks this controller comes with so there is no more stick customization what comes with this pack is what you get. In my opinion this is a fair trade for never getting stick drift again if the advertised feature is to be believed but once again time will tell. As for installation, this is not something that the average Joe should try you need at least basic soldering equipment and knowledge. If you don’t have that take it to a local repair shop and ask about possibly installing these for you. In conclusion so far these sticks are great after recalibration and I will be buying again for more controllers in the future. ( I was not paid to make this review )

These seem to work well. Desoldering the old joysticks is pretty easy if you have the right tools. I was using an electric vacuum pump desoldering station, and had no issues. The new stick is a drop in replacement, not much to it once the old ones are out.

The sticks themselves work great. They feel smooth and responsive. After initial calibration I can set my deadzones to nearly zero. The install is the only part I didn’t like but it’s not the fault of the manufacturer. It’s purposefully designed by Microsoft to be difficult to remove the stock sticks. If you don’t have a very good soldering iron, solder sucker, and skills, I would highly recommend taking it to a professional. My install almost went south, as I had to bypass some connections since some of the solder pads were destroyed when I removed the old sticks. But if you can someway get these in your controller, I’d highly recommend it.

Works perfectly! I’ve always bought favor union tmr sticks for the previous controllers I’ve been working on, but I heard from many that Gulikit was the best of the best. Figured I’d drop the money on one just to try it out, and sure enough I see what they mean! The sticks were about as easy to install as the previous ones, but the movement of them feel JUST like ALPS sticks that were in here previously. Calibration was no issue as I just used the Xbox accessories app to fix them right up, and hopped right into my games! The controller now works flawlessly and will never have a drifting problem again!

I had a repair shop install these on my old DualSense, they also calibrated it, and the sticks managed to reach as low as around 3% circularity error. The addition of easily removable thumbsticks makes this a rather compelling product, since you can buy the "King Kong Ring Thumbstick Kit" and have different heights that you can swap to. Most stick replacements don't really offer something similar from what I've seen, so it's quite a nice bonus. While I am happy with the sticks, they're a little too stiff in the lowest input zones. If you're trying to register as little input as possible it's actually quite challenging, which makes me wonder if going with the tension adjustable module GuliKit has instead would have been better. Also, when moving the sticks in a certain position and letting go, it doesn't always return to 0.00, it instead hangs around at 0.01 or 0.02. Max I've observed was 0.02, I've tried to calibrate that away but it doesn't quite go away. This might be very reasonable, or completely unreasonable. I don't quite know, though I'm including it in case this is a deal breaker for anyone, though I have no idea how much of this is tied to how the repair shop installed it or even if they installed it perfectly whether or not you'll get the same experience if the unit to unit variance is high. Either way, not a bad product, just a little too stiff. As for the installation, I most definitely would not recommend trying to install these yourself if you have no experience in doing things similar. I highly recommend just looking towards a nearest repair shop instead.

I purchased these for a Elite series 2 swap out. A local shop installed them for me for $45. They are amazing! I have one complaint. Since the thumbstick caps are removable, my dog licked one off and chewed it up. They sell replacements, but they are currently unavailable. I am buying a second set so I have some backups in the meantime

These have breathed new life into my limited edition xbox controller that kept getting stick drift issues. Even after disassembling and cleaning the potentiometers twice on the original, drift would come back after a couple of months. Couldn't bear to part with my beloved controller so fitted these into it and have had zero problems since. Very happy that the original thumbsticks are compatible with this, so the external look of my controller hasn't changed. Installation of the first took a long time as my desoldering pump was old and clogged, but once I replaced that the second one was replaced in 10 minutes! I will say that the installation is for more experienced solderers, but worth the time. Feeling very confident in the quality of these sticks, while they have a slightly different feel to the original, it's only noticeable for the first 30 minutes, then you no longer notice it (and they may even feel better than the original). Calibration was no problem and handled by the Xbox Accessories software, requiring no fiddling like a hall effect joystick would. Very happy with this purchase and the time I took to install them, now I no longer have to worry if my beautiful controller is going to become an annoying burden every few months!

Got these fitted to my pro controller and they work great. I would say these are not plug and play, and you will need to be able to remove solder to take out the old thumb sticks, and be able to resolder on the new modules. I'd recommend watching some videos of the process to make sure you're comfortable with what you need to do.
