Easy enough to install, there is a video showing how floating around the internet. Took me about 45 mins, fantastic change in the way the retractable top works. One click and done, no more holding the toggle for 13 seconds as my back screams " your not a teenager anymore, i'm not meant to bend this way!". No more trying to maintain under 6 mph as the top comes down only to let go of the brake and have the whole process stall. Really great product, expensive? not really when you do the math. If you raise and lower your roof say 5 times a week, 20 times a month, 6 months of the year the price is about 20 cents per toggle. I use it much more so I expect if will be less than a penny per toggle by next year. That is a great value for the convenience and added usability. Every MX5 RF owner should get one of these.

Lllego en una semana y probado completamente en mi MAZDA MX RF 2017 , en CDMX, cumple con todas funciones, lo coloque yo mismo siguiendo el Manual y Video de fabricante y 30 min eestaba listo. increible funcinal. sin modificar nada de la computadora del auto.

Works well on my MX-5 ND RF. Have used the smartTOP on my previous MX-5 NC PRHT, so I knew what to expect. Unsure what the manufacturer is like today, but I had a few issues with the previous one around 5 years ago and the support was unreal even though I'm on the other side of the world.

I installed this unit on my 2019 Miata MX-5 RF and it installs pretty easily. I really like that I can operate the roof at up to 30mph. Also the dash button only requires one quick press to do the job (and it can be inverted so that "up" raises the roof and "down" lowers it). HOWEVER, I'm very disappointed that I can't operate the roof remotely which is what a LOT of marketing literature stated. The company says it's because the Mazda does not support the necessary wiring, but I think it should be cheaper since it has limited function on this model car.
