FALLOUT Synopsis: On a dangerous assignment to recover stolen plutonium, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) chooses to save his team over completing the mission, allowing nuclear weapons to fall into the hands of a deadly network of highly-skilled operatives intent on destroying civilization. Now, with the world at risk, Ethan and his IMF team (Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson) are forced to become reluctant partners with a hard-hitting CIA agent (Henry Cavill) as they race against time to stop the nuclear fallout. There's never been a threat more destructive, stunts so jaw-dropping in the film critics are calling "the best Mission yet!" (Erik Davis, Fandango). 147 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English. Review: too long with tons of action and little story but very fun to watch - I loved the original Mission Impossible TV series as a teen, and have grown to like how it has been transformed for the movies. Aside from the original Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movie, most of the sequels were a bit disappointing for various reasons. But this latest sequel does its best to recapture the feel of the original Mission Impossible TV show while retaining the unique characters and personalities of the modern movie. It is nice to see the little tape recording describing the mission before destroying itself and listening to the old theme song. And the frequent masks used to impersonate others is a throwback to the old TV series, too. Where Tom Cruise and company have taken this Mission Impossible movie is into the realm of almost non-stop action. The story is pretty basic and overused: the bad guys have stolen nuclear material and plan to blow up parts of the world. The good guys have to find the stolen nukes and disarm them before this can happen. It weaves bits of the previous Mission Impossible movies into the story line which will be completely lost on anyone who either hasn't seen the prior movies or forgot them. There are several twists and turns in the story, especially early on. But this movie was not made for the story. It was made for the action, and there is lots of it. The James Bond franchise has been built by putting bigger and more elaborate stunts in each movie. Tom Cruise has taken this concept and put it on steroids for Mission Impossible: Fallout. Not only are the stunts fantastic to watch, but you feel the tension, and you see Tom Cruise actually performing his own stunts, even the ones any other movie franchise would relegate to stunt doubles and/or CGI. Cruise truly deserves an Academy Award for his stunt work. The movie is far from perfect. The story is a bit difficult to follow in parts, especially if you don't remember details from the prior movies. You have to completely suspend belief in reality for some of the stunts as Cruise drives a motorcycle into a car, falls from over 2 story heights, and crashes in a helicopter with seemingly none or little injury. The length of the movie is too long, almost 2-1/2 hours, and even though the action is thrilling, by the end of the movie you're wishing it will come to an end soon. Overall, Mission Impossible: Fallout is a great sequel in the series, a lot of fun to watch, and a great popcorn movie to spend an afternoon or evening watching. Buy this blu-ray disc, though, because the extras showing Cruise preparing for and performing the stunts in the movie are equally interesting and fun to watch. Tom Cruise is getting older, and it won't be long before he will be physically unable to perform the physical stunts he has done up to now. He is an actor truly committed to the task of creating a fantastic movie experience, and we will likely never see anyone else come close to the stunt work he has performed as an actor to enhance the realism. Review: Excellent quality…EXCELLENT SELLER!! - Amazing packaging from seller. Thank you. Was looking for this movie for a long time and it’s the NA version!

3 discs; Blu-ray + DVD + Special features disc. The last 2 are stacked one on top of the other.
AWESOME!!!!! There are 3 discs; Blu-ray + DVD + Special features disc. The last 2 are stacked one on top of the other. Which caused me to wrongfully think there was no DVD copy.

Good action, good plot, great Atmos sound - but not as good as the previous two, IMO
I really like Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation, and IMO, Fallout isn't as good as either one. It has less humor and less overall action (unless you're into extended car/motorcycle chases). I also didn't feel as connected to any of the characters as I did in those two. That said, this is a good movie. It has good action and a good plot, and the Atmos soundtrack does not disappoint. I do like this much better than the first three movies (I really liked the first one when I saw it in college, but I never really liked the other two). It's a good movie, but maybe a rental versus a purchase. I bought it on 4K, and while I don't really regret it, I'm not sure that I'll watch it much.

The Perfect Blend of Action, Suspense, and Thrills
If you're a fan of the Mission: Impossible franchise, you won't want to miss the latest installment, Fallout. Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt, the fearless and daring agent who is once again tasked with saving the world from impending doom. This time, he must stop a group of terrorists who have acquired three plutonium cores and plan to use them to create a devastating attack. Fallout is a non-stop thrill ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The action sequences are some of the most impressive I've ever seen in a movie, with jaw-dropping stunts and heart-pumping chases. The helicopter chase scene through the mountains is particularly breathtaking and will leave you in awe of the skill and bravery of the filmmakers. The supporting cast is also exceptional, with standout performances from Henry Cavill as August Walker, a ruthless CIA agent, and Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, a skilled and cunning agent who proves to be a valuable ally to Ethan. Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames return as Benji and Luther, respectively, providing some much-needed comic relief and support to Ethan. But what really sets Fallout apart is its expertly crafted plot. The twists and turns are expertly executed, keeping you guessing until the very end. The script is smart and engaging, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. There's never a dull moment in this movie, and it's impossible not to be swept up in the excitement and suspense of the story. The Blu-ray edition of Fallout features stunning visuals and crisp sound, making for an immersive viewing experience that will make you feel like you're right in the middle of the action. It's a must-see film for action and adventure enthusiasts, and a testament to the enduring appeal of the Mission: Impossible franchise. So, if you're looking for a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, Mission: Impossible - Fallout is the perfect choice.

Great acting. Superior Plot. Fascinating thrills. Top Movie. My Deep Thanks to All Involved
My wife and I pulled this out while in bumper-to-bumper traffic in the Istanbul parking lot and had a great ride watching this movie. What could be improved? ZERO. NOTHING! WHAT EXCEPTIONAL HIGH-QUALITY FASCINATING Product. After it was over, I just thought to myself. THANK YOU. Just thank you to the entire team involved. BRAVO. Thank you for your gifts. How often does this level of advanced movie creation come out? Rarely.

Steelbook packaging for MI-6 delivered in perfect condition.
What more is there to say. I liked the movie and nice to have my own steelbook edition. Always like to watch 4K directly from discs using my higher end player and atmos setup :)

Mission: Impossible - Fallout (Blu-ray) Absolutely the best Mission: Impossible installment. I am a great fan of the whole Mission: Impossible series, but I can say that this one beats all the previous movies. Amazing cast, including old IMF team: Tom Cruise as Ethan Hawk, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, as well as Henry Cavill as August Walker, Sean Harris as Solomon Lane, Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley, Rebecca Ferguson as Elsa Faust and Vanessa Kirby as The White Widow. Screenplay is very good, special effects are stunning, sound effects as well as music are great. Even the car pursuit scenes are memorable (BMW e28!) and everything is spiced with a bit of humour typical for MI series (especially Hawk & Walker or IMF team scenes). Highly recommended to buy a Blu-ray version due to the clear picture, superior sound and to watch with a good sound speakers setup to have a proper feel of this movie (by a proper feel, I mean the depth of sound, especially low tones with just a moderate overall volume being enough). Simply, one of the best action/adventure movies of last decade. If my recommendation is not sufficient, it should be enough to say that Mission: Impossible - Fallout received numerous award nominations and won several awards, including a prestigious Saturn award for the best action/adventure movie. Great product!
