I had a plastic and real bone folder and was quite happily using these, with a barrier to prevent the marks and shine they leave. This doesnt leave marks or shine!! Game changer!! I mainly use for bookbinding and its very important not to get a shiny mark on the book cloth, and this prevents this. No more barrier required - YAY!!!
