Just came back a month ago from a week at the coast. Forgot to pick up my wife's bluetooth transmitter for the TV on our way out. This isn't something she does well without. I do the over the head ears thing. She does the Bluetooth, and won't settle for anything short of that. So, on the first day back, I order this Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver, 2-in-1 V5.3 Wireless Adapter. Although it comes equipped for to deal with multiple devices, I order it solely for use on out TV speakers. Economy priced, with a promise of quick delivery, and strong reviews set my gears in motion. It also came with a discount coupon. Things we like: 1) Size. This small unit takes up very little table space 2) Pairing works like a charm, and takes minimum effort 3) The unit supports multiple simultaneous connections. Who knows? I may one day give up my ears 4) Unit ships with extra cables enabling the user to make it work for their layout 5) Includes rechargeable batteries, which enables unit mobility 6) Is easy to reset pairing 7) No lag or voice problems 8) Multiple lights to help you assure when each function is taking place or finish. What's not to like? 1) Even when plugged to a power source, the system times out after ten minutes without connection to a hearing device. This requires a fresh repairing with every setup. Good thing the pairing is a single press and rapid function.

I was using a Bluetooth FM transmitter for listening to Bluetooth music on my radio. Once I got this and started listening to it, I ended up throwing that transmitter in the trash as fast as I could. I really like the fact that you hook this up through your coax so you have zero hiss and perfect Bluetooth audio quality. I use Spotify a lot and it actually plays the high resolution music through this. I think it is the anx codec. Whatever it is, the audio sounds incredible through my non tablet screen old radio. I have upgraded speakers in my car, I have kicker speakers, and even delivers really great Highs, mids, and lows crystal clear. I'm actually surprised by the bass that i get through the clear audio. I'm highly impressed and definitely recommend buying it if you need a Bluetooth hook up for your car.

This review is after a year and a half of use. I originally purchased this at the same time as a pair of Bluetooth headphones, and the combination was always finicky to get and keep working. The biggest problem was that they would either go totally silent or result in a nasty video-audio lip sync delay. The solution was always to walk up to the TV, turn it around, shift the buttons on this unit to first make it a Receiver and then back to a Transmitter. I found myself having to do this occasionally several times a week. But since I wasn't sure the headphones weren't involved, I just put up with it and got quicker at resetting it. But recently it developed a horrible case of cutting in and out several times a minute, to where programs were not watchable! So something had to be done. I replaced this unit with a different Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver from here on Amazon. It has solved all the above problems and is working great so far. No I wouldn't buy this again.
