Aura Cacia Patchouli, Dark, 0.5 Ounce

It is really hard to find good oils. This patchouli oil has good lasting smell. I use it for making candles and it does great.

This is my personal favorite brand of patchouli. I have bought many different brands online trying to find the perfect patchouli for my body chemistry . I had discovered patchouli back in high school when a friend of mine wrote me a letter and put some on it . I couldn't stop sniffing that letter ! She also had sent me some t shirts that smelled of it . The smell never washed out and I loved it . I bought a bottle of patchouli in my home town , but it didn't smell the same . This was before the Internet and patchouli was hard to find where I live . I spent years trying to find the perfect patchouli that smelled like hers . The brand she'd had got discontinued shortly after she'd sent me that letter . I've always loved how patchouli smelled on other people after it dried down . Until I found this brand , I could never replicate that scent on myself . Now I can , thanks to Aura Cacia ! It only takes one drop , so the bottle lasts for ages ! Actually , Aura Cacia has the best essential oils all around . I have a few other scents from this line and they all smell fresh , pure and strong . Thanks so much ! This was fast shipping and well packed. It has a wonderful smell but it is very hard to get out and you might have to remove the dispenser to get it out.

I really like this brand of patchouli, and always have. I recommend it.

Not as authentic smell as the original.

This is exactly what its supposed to be. I was worried that it might not be the same scent that i was looking for since i was unable to "test it" before hand. However, rest assured that this is exactly what its supposed to be and i love it. Good buy.

I've been wearing patchouli for over 30 years. This is one of the best oils I've used. The smell is clean and true. Will purchase again and again.

Without divulging my age, I've used patchouli since the 1960's cause the hippies smelled good. The first brand I ever purchased I believe was Spiritual Sky in the square bottle at World Imports, then Auric Blends roll on, then Crabtree & Evelyn, and now this brand Aura Cacia. I believe all of these companies still offer patchouli essential oil but, it became hard to find. They're all good, but the Aura Cacia brand is available at all Whole Foods retail stores also here on Amazon and offered at a reasonable price. Rated as tops for always being 100% pure and readily available. Caution: some brands sell patchouli as a roll on perfume and add carrier oils which dilutes the fragrance oil rendering it weaker in strength and lastability, while some will blend different fragrances which smell good but, are not 100% patchouli oil.

Packed well. Took some time to arrive but still within the time frame. Smells like actual myrtle oil, no complaints here.
