Is this leather repair kit suitable for stitching car seats?

Certainly. I had the exact same issue before, so I got myself this leather kit. It works great. I also used it to repair the worn seams on armrest of a boat seat and it did a fantastic job there too.

What is the yarn made of?  Is it cotton or synthetic?

To be honest, when I received this leather repair kit, it didn't come with any instructions (not that I need any, as I was raised by a father (and mother) who were "jacks of all trades and masters of them all", and, so therefore, my older brother, me, and my three younger sisters are also "jacks of all trades and masters of them all" as well. That being said, this PLANTIONAL (weird name) Leather Repair Sewing Kit does not specify what the thread is made of, but I'm going to make a wild guess and say that it's natural. That is to say, I HOPE that it's some sort of natural fiber because that's what I am trained to use and that's what I prefer to use when working with leather.

That being said, perhaps synthetic fiber is stronger and therefore, lasts longer? I don't know. But, I will say this, I am very pleased with this tiny leather repair and sewing kit. It's small, compact, and packed from top to bottom with everything you need to do leather repair and sewing work. I got it to add to my bugout bag. Personally, I love it!

Can I use this on a inflatable bounce house?

It’s specifically for sewing leather. Wouldn’t a bounce house be plastic and require a very strong glue and plastic patch?

My leather couch has a rip that needs fixing. Would this be a good sewing kit for beginners like me to do leather repair patch and stitch jobs?

I believe this is a great starter sewing kit as it has enough sewing supplies and accessories to get going but not so much as to be overwhelmed. I reckon it's gonna help you sew almost anything you can think of.
