Just used this on a long flight with Bose Quiet Comfort headphones, and it worked great. Battery life seems great and it was easy to pair.

This little device has exceeded my expectations. I mainly bought it to use on airplanes, since Bluetooth headphones don't work with traditional audio jacks. It works wonderfully. The connection is stable, the latency is very low, and the battery lasts a long time, even on long flights. It has also been very useful as a receiver to stream audio from my phone to older speakers that don't have Bluetooth. The design is compact and feels solid, and the dual-pronged airplane adapter is a very practical touch. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to free their headphones from wires.

Got this to enable BT in my old car. Sound quality: 5 stars. The hiss and static others complain about is not detectable with my unit, plugged into a 2007 Honda Fit's aux-in port. If you experience this problem, I advise returning & replacing. It may turn out to be related to the car or other source device. There may be solutions that a mechanic or audio installer might be able to offer Function: 5 stars. Pairing is simple in Rx mode. (I don't use Tx mode, but it's nice to know it's there if I need it.). The connection persists & pauses even if I just turn off the engine and walk my BT source device out of range. Upon returning the connection picks up from the pause point with no special fiddling or button pushing. Instructions: 2 stars. The included user guide is very inadequate. Fortunately, experimentation quickly reveals various handy built-in features, like short-pressing the power button to pause/resume. Taking phone calls when a mobile phone is connected to the device is initially mysterious, but with practice becomes reasonably intuitive. Accessories: 5 stars. The female-to-female barrel adaptor was an unexpected and welcome included accessory that is crucial to connecting to aux ports using a longer 3.5mm audio cable (not included). I have my own barrel adapters, but for the less technically equipped it's nice to have one in the package. The aircraft adapter may not work in all situations, but it's good to have it available to try. Airlines with different configurations usually supply their own adapter when handing out earphones anyway. Durability: 2 stars. This is the device's one major weakness. The main box containing the tech is attached to a very short 3.5mm male audio cable. The weight of the box relative to the cable, plus the likelihood of repeated twisting while attached to the aux port of the source or speaker, practically guarantees the device's short audio cable will quickly be damaged and rendered unusable for its primarily purpose. The absence of an aux port in the unit itself is a major oversight, although I imagine its presence would have significantly raised the price. (I've had other BT transmitter-receivers fast had such a port, but they cost double what this one does.) Personally, I would pay the cost for this feature as I have in the past. Fortunately, there is a relatively simple, inexpensive workaround: Use electrical tape, duct tape, or other flexible fabric tape to wrap the short cable and bind it more firmly to the box. The result isn't pretty, but it ought to prevent disaster for months if not years. Rewrapping ought to extend the protection as the tape wears out, becomes sticky, etc. Overall, this unit is well worth buying if you are prepared to take steps to protect it and experiment with its features in the absence of proper written guidance.

This was simple to connect to my phone and plug and play in my vehicle. The only thing you need to remember to do is, to power it off when done or your phone wants to keep sending audio to it after leaving the car.

To quote a barf-worthy expression, "I really wanted to love this device." lol I tried using this device with my Beats Studio Pro headphones, with this device connected to the stereo mixdown output from an audio mixer. This setup would have allowed me to play an instrument along with what I hear from the mixer output. But the audio latency ("lag", delay time) is far too long to allow that. I didn't measure the latency time, but it seems to be on the order of 250 to 400 milliseconds, making it impractical to play an instrument along with what you're hearing through the bluetooth headphones. Secondly, even though my headset was only about 2 feet from this device, I heard audio dropouts and "clicks" every couple of seconds, as if this device was dropping data packets periodically.

I bought this Bluetooth transmitter/receiver mainly for my car and it works perfectly! The sound quality is super clear and there’s no noticeable delay. It connects quickly to my phone and headphones, and I love that it can be used both as a transmitter and a receiver. The battery lasts a long time, and the small display showing the charge level is really convenient. Great little gadget for travel or everyday use totally worth it!

Works great. Right from the start it was a delight, unlike some of the earlier adapters I have purchased. I charge it only when it needs it, so be ready to do this. I have only used it with my computer in transmit mode. Strongly recommended.

I was looking for a new bluetooth transmitter that would allow me to connect my airpods to the in-flight entertainment for my next trip. These were a perfect solution! Crisp audio, with low-latency, and a tiny screen (on the side of the device) to view the current battery life. Few devices available right now have such great features. Very impressive!
