it is actually quite heavy even for adult.

Should say this blanket is the size of an infant blanket.It is barely enlarged enough to be considered a throw.. Definitely not impressed for the price.I paid.

Can tell a huge difference in my kids sleep schedule. They goto sleep faster and stay longer. My kids have ADHD so not sure if that is a factor but definitely a great price to try if your kids have sleeping issues. Awesome design and material quality. Washes super well and fabric color doesn’t fade. Functions just as promoted. Weight perfect for 4 and 7 year old.
