It sounds great, and it's just plug-and-play.
The quality is very good for the price of $10. I was quite surprised, actually. I just plugged it in, pressed the side button, and started using it—I didn't have to install any apps.

Not The Best Audio Pick Up
I wanted to like these so bad!!! When they work, the sound quality is amazing! There was no static noise and my voice sounded very smooth. Unfortunately, it would only record me for 5-8 seconds, the sound would cut off and sound muffled for another 5-8 seconds, then the sound would cut back on. I recorded a 15 minute vlog and only had about 1 minute total of usable audio. It's disappointing because I saw great reviews, but this was not my experience.

Don't drop it.
So, first outing i dropped my phone with the USB dangle still plugged into the phone and this came apart I have no clue how to put it back together or know if anything is broken.

Record Your Disappointment in Real Time
The bad news: only long enough to record me saying, “Wow, this actually works!” — right before the adapters broke. Tried to get product support, but was just redirected to some random Chinese website. So yeah, zero actual support, zero fixes, and zero stars from me.
