I was looking for (quite some time) a multi-gun lockbox. Unfortunately most are made to safeguard 1-2 guns, and I needed a lockbox for 4. This one seemed to fit the bill, so I took the plunge. Overall first impression is that this is a very clean and sharp looking device. There is plenty of room for my 4 Glock handguns as well as extra magazines (2 handguns and 2 magazines in each the top and bottom areas). The device was as easy to program as the manufacturer video showcases; took me 5 minutes to program new codes and 2 fingerprints. The fingerprint reader worked flawlessly after programming, as did the button combos. There is a fairly loud/audible sound when entering the combo, which i will need to research if there is an option to silence. The top cover forcefully swings open, but not to the point that it needs to be bolted down (no risk of flipping over). The bottom drawer auto-ejects about an inch, requiring you to manually pull the drawer fully open, which i actually prefer. Mine came (as expected) with 2 sets of fully functional back-up keys (one set for the top, and one set for the bottom drawer). *Make sure these are placed somewhere safe, as they would be needed if you forget the codes or the internally contained 4 AA batteries die. There is a USB backup that is supposed to allow for electronic access if the batteries die, but I haven't tested this feature yet. This USB backup is actually one of the main reasons I decided on this unit, as my last lockbox (Stack-On) would zap the batteries relatively quickly, and i would be forced to get out the back-up key in order regain access to the lockbox and change the batteries. notice I have been using the term "lockbox", which is intentional... this is NOT a "safe". While this lockbox seems very secure, I am sure there is a way to forcefully get into it if someone really wants to. BUT I did not buy this with the intention of it being completely impenetrable to a focused thief. My primary concern was having a safe/secure place that would keep my firearms away from my young children. I feel this lockbox will do that. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I will add that I purchased this on Black Friday for $159, which is $40 off of the currently marked price of $200. I think it is definitely worth what I paid. Great little safe for handguns. It's a little kludgy if you want to use the key for the drawer because of the keyhole location. Setup is relatively easy. The fingerprint biometric isn't fantastic, I've actually locked myself out of the safe because your finger needs to be in the EXACT position as when you set up the fingerprint. It really does hold a lot. In the drawer I have three 9mms, in the top I have a 9mm, a 45 and a snubnose 357 magnum. It's not fireproof, but it is a good way to secure your handguns and still have fast access to them.

Safe is well made, but the fingerprint reader doesn't recognize all the time.

Lid does not open without hitting the top of it. Customer Service suggested that door was out of alignment. Sent video how to adjust. After four adjustment door still does open like it should. Unacceptable condition. Contacted customer service and they made it right.

I bought 2 of these for starters. I bought another brand before this which the lid did not even close so that was a fail... This safe however works great! I fingerprint reader works fine of course some times it will not read but most of the time it works perfect. I like that this has a top and bottom so i can store more things in it and have different passcodes for each. And an added plus was the light for the top. They also come with keys if you forget the passcode which is nice.

So I've had this thing for a little while now. The fingerprint reader I would not bet my life on period. It works almost always. But "almost" is not good enough. I have re-registered my fingers multiple times and reset it as well. Sometimes it just wont take my finger. Honestly its not a deal breaker to me because I have the 4 number combo I can use which works 100% of the time. I also like that you can plug mini USB in as a power source. Solid construction. I've never trusted fingerprint reader safes before I had another and it died as well. In a life or death situation I rather punch in the code than sit there trying to get my finger to work. So I would bet my life on this safe based on the numeric keypad. Not so much the fingerprint reader.

Took a chance on this since it had no reviews and could not be happier. The two separate storage areas is great. One to lock up my valuables and one to lock up my firearm. Setup was simple and I can tell this safe is high quality. Very happy with my purchase and I'm traditionally an extremely picky person.

So I read the comments prior to buying, and still was surprised how large it was. First thing I noticed was the large box it came in and was shocked at the safe. I could fit 2 small weapons on top and 4 mags, and ammo at the bottom part. Came with 2 sets of keys for the bottom and top. Also you need batteries to use the fingerprint option.
