Play-Doh Trash Tossin Rowdy Garbage Truck

My 3-year old grandson LOVES this toy, so he would give it five stars. The drawback to this item is the fact that you need a really large space to be able to get the desired results. It's not like you can put it on a table with your toddler as they don't have the arm span (nor does the table have the length) to use it properly. So you wind up letting them play with it on the floor.You will find yourself avoiding these little fish-shaped landmines so as not to trip on them or carry them throughout your house on the bottom of your shoe. Wish it was calibrated in such a way that the fish would come out at much shorter intervals. Cute idea, and as I mentioned my 3-year old grandson adores it, but I don't feel it was well thought out.

My kids would give it five stars, but as a parent I give it three. As others said, the play doh it comes with is super sticky. It stuck to my son’s fingertips and it’s stuck inside the molds. Thankfully, I just bought a separate multi-pack so I quickly took away what came with the truck and gave him another can. Since the truck has to drive pretty far in order to spit out the newly molded “trash,” it needs to be used on the floor. So it spits out “trash” and then the child crawling along with it may or may not squish his knees into the play doh in the floor, or it sometimes got squished between our floorboards. This kind of makes me regret buying it, but my kids love it.

The truck, and accessories are fun but the Play-Doh that comes with it is terrible. The Play-Doh is way too sticky to work in the molds or the garbage truck. It sticks to your fingers and to whatever else it touches, that was a bummer. I would recommend buying other Play-Doh and using the goopy stuff for something else.

This truck is huge! I didn't expect this toy to be so big but my almost 4 year old can use it just fine. We have collected the Play-Doh sets that Chuck and Friends has, he's a construction and truck enthusiast. This toy is fun, you can make trash with the molds(bottles and garbage cans) use the shovel to pick up and put in the bin and then Rowdy smashes the trash or play-doh into different shapes and shoots them or drops them out the back. Super easy to use and clean doesn't leave a bunch of play-doh inside the truck. My son enjoys the truck very much and I like I don't have to sit and help him constantly!

I purchased this 5 years ago and my kids still play with it! We love play doh and have tons of play doh toys, but this is one of their favorites. They love the trash can and they love making fish for the trash! I only give it four stars because sometimes the play doh gets stuck in the truck and that can be annoying to deal with. But it's a definite five stars for durability and keeping their interest for so many years!

I purchased this for my three year old as a reward for potty training. He loves it! We have the brick maker/cutter from the same series and he loves to pull them out and play with them together.The truck comes with several SMALL containers of play-doh (which is NOT a big deal; play-doh is SUPER cheap!), a shovel, a removable trash bin, the truck itself and there is a slot behind the eyes that has a pop out container that, when you put play-doh in it, makes bottles and trash cans. When you put the play-doh in the top trash compactor and roll it, it drops different pieces of "trash", pieces of play-doh pressed by the truck when you roll it.My three year old son and 19 month old daughter love this truck, with or without play-doh!

I would give this 5 stars for the truck and the tools, my grandson 3 loves it and we use it with a big plastic table cloth but the Play-Doh was awful, so soft it was goo and impossible to use. I luckily had some "old cans" left so we could play. I just threw all the included cans in the trash as my grand kids have gooey hands and all the toys need to be scrubbed. So bad I hope this is a one- time glitch.Play-Doh get it together!

This garbage truck actually makes a mess! The PlayDoh it uses is more creamy/sticky than the standard formula. I think this is to help it get through the spinning part of the trash compactor in the truck. In any case, it means you're going to have to clean up after your kiddo uses it. I'd also recommend avoiding use on the carpet. The blue bin also seems to come off to easily. Overall, my kiddo didn't care for it much either.

It takes a little more effort to spit out the garbage than my little three year old can manage so I always have to help out. Maybe he just needs to be a bit older to play with this toy effectively.

Works great. Super cute. Exactly what you'd expect. Doesn't shoot "trash" out the back if you overfill the truck. So, don't overfill.
