If you're going to splurge, go for the Best!
We decided to go ahead and splurge on a robotic vacuum and mop cleaner. We chose the Narwal Flow. It is a great choice and we feel that it is the best on the market. We did a lot of research, and we first eliminated the models that had the mopping feature with the two-disc pads and also the vibrating pads units as well. The just seem to push the dirt around. We wanted the continuous cleaning roller mop models. The Narwal Flow incorporated this feature but did it even better. They use, for lack of a better way to describe it, a conveyor flat mop approach. See the literature for a better description and pictures. It really does the job and it go back to the station to reclean the mop head whenever it senses that it is getting too dirty. So you always have a clean mop head. The app is not bad and can do everything you need this robot to do. Clean the whole house, clean a room or rooms, or clean zones that you create in the app. after is maps out your home. Tip.... the mapping feature, when you first do it, try get everything off the floors other than the furniture, so that it creates a clean map of your home. You can always split rooms, combine rooms, put in zones, or let it go and clean the entire house. I was in such a hurry that it didn't quite get a complete accurate mapping, because it couldn't see all the walls. It wasn't a big deal to correct, just go ahead and "remap" when you're ready again. It does not take long. The app is fairly intuitive so connecting to your network is pretty straight forward. This unit comes with all the bells and whistles. It vacuums, it mops or it vacuums and mops, or it will vacuum first, then mop, etc. etc. I personally like the "Zone" feature, because you can tell it to clean the areas that you determine are the dirtiest and let it go! I thought we had a clean house, but the dirty water in the base station tells me a different story. The wood floors just have more shine to them. When it's through it goes back to the base station and recleans the mop with hot water and dries the mop head as well. Ohh, it also empties out the dust and hair that it picks up as well. Now that we have used it for a few days, my wife will never let me return it. It will be a permanent part of the family from now on. Go get yourself a Narwal Flow, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Performance and Very Quiet
The Narwal Flo has exceeded my expectations. The vacuuming is powerful and consistent, easily picking up dust, hair, and debris, while the mopping function leaves floors clean, streak-free, and quickly dry. Its obstacle avoidance is highly accurate, smoothly navigating around furniture and cords without getting stuck. Another major plus is how quiet it is during operation, even on higher settings. Overall, the Narwal Flo is a reliable, well-designed robot that delivers excellent cleaning results with minimal noise. Highly recommended.

Upgrading from an OG Narwal Freo/Roomba i7+ combo to the Narwal Freo Z Ultra was a FANTASTIC move
Decided to replace the white whale OG Narwal Freo (primarily mopping) and a Roomba i7+ with a friendly cleaner that's as quiet as a ghost and could handle both vacuuming and mopping WITH obstacle avoidance. I moved my auto-water drain/refill station from Moby's cave to Casper's cave without issues and it works great! Mapping was just as fast as the OG Narwal, and the Z Ultra's object avoidance algorithm is SLICK. We have a ton of electronics and random phone chargers in the house and it avoided every single cord, and some of my roommate's dog's REAL pet surprise on the first run without issues (the surprise was left AFTER I started the first cleaning and went to bed, so... Thank you Narwal for that! 💯🔥👍👍🤜💥🤛🏽) The Freo Z Ultra is on an entirely new level of autonomous mopping, in my opinion. I can't begin to explain how ridiculously good the mopping is, but with Freo Mind and the automatic water exchange system, I'll say it went from "game changing" to "LIFE CHANGING." I cannot explain just how ridiculously life changing NEVER HAVING TO TOUCH YOUR ROBOT is. I automated a Freo Mind (vacuum and mop simultaneously) schedule for 3AM every day, 7 days a week since I got it last Tuesday. I haven't touched it since. I wake up every day to clean floors... Vacuumed floors. MOPPED floors. REALLY. CLEAN. FLOORS. We have 3 cats, 3 dogs, and 3 people with long hair in this house. The dogs splash water, the cats kick litter, and the humans drop crumbs, splash drinks, cough and sneeze, drag their feet, come in and out of the house with dirty shoes. OH and we have 5 aquariums that we're constantly shuffling water to in order to top them off, and of course, we splash water all over the tile while doing this. NO MORE STAINS. No more crumbs, no more water spots, no more pet tracks on the tile, no more weird streaks from the stupid BraavaJet M6+, no more hassle with only running the mop when I'm around to babysit it. I can have the Freo Z Ultra clean while my girlfriend and I sleep, and I don't have to think about it anymore. Having 100% autonomous floor cleaning is an entirely different level of luxury that you have to experience to TRULY appreciate. The OG Freo changed the game for mopping, and the S1 Pro may have raised the bar, but when the Freo series (OG, X, and Z) can continue to mop 100% autonomously with ZERO human intervention, I will take the Freo series over the S1 Pro Every. Single. Time. The Freo Z Ultra, when paired with the Automatic Water Exchange System, will literally keep mopping the area and cleaning the pads until it's done with the mess. No gripes about running out of water, no getting up from the couch, or coming home to a half-assed job because it ran out of water halfway through the cycle, no forgetting to dump the dirty water tank while away for the weekend and coming back to a tank that absolutely REEKS. The Freo Z Ultra (with automatic water exchange system) is the kind of hassle-free cleaning I always dreamed about, ever since the original Roomba hit the market. It's literally the type of cleaning experience we've ALL been waiting for. === Biggest gripe about the unit is how the roller goes into the unit. It has a guide pin and two "tongs" on either side of the roller, but while it looks rotationally symmetrical, it's not. If you get something lodged in the roller (I HATE TWIST TIES! I HATE THEM SO MUCH) and you take the roller out to clean the area, you can accidentally install the roller's tongs "upside down" and you might not even notice. You WILL notice the vacuum can't dock though, it'll reverse and clip the auto-empty bin hole over and over. If this is happening to you, take the roller out and spin the roller 180° so the tongs are in their proper orientation, then close it up. And... probably run the vacuum again because the roller most likely fell out of position and didn't agitate the carpet fibers to loosen anything. Aside from that, the Z is a fantastic step up from the OG Freo. I think keeping the same form factor as the OG Narwal and especially the water tanks was a genius move for reducing production costs and making the water tank universal between Freo models. Standardizing parts to minimize production costs - that's big brain thinking, Narwal 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 and it was executed perfectly! Day 12 with my Freo Z Ultra, ZERO TANGLES, ZERO ISSUES, FLAWLESS FLOORS!!! Can't wait to see how the "heavy duty detergent" and "floor maintenance" modules work!!! Let's GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been using the Narwal for a bit now and it’s honestly really cool how much it can do on its own. The mapping is super accurate, and you can tell it actually knows where it’s going instead of just driving around randomly. It cleans in straight lines, covers the whole floor, and doesn’t miss spots, which makes the floors look way cleaner every time. The suction is strong and it handles pet hair really well, especially along walls and edges where hair usually builds up. It switches between hardwood, tile, and carpet without any issues and adjusts easily. It’s also quieter than I expected for how powerful it is, so it’s not annoying to have running in the background. The app makes everything simple. You can start a clean, schedule it, or choose specific areas without it being confusing. Maintenance is easy too. Emptying the bin and cleaning the parts only takes a minute, so it doesn’t feel like extra work. Overall, it feels really advanced but also easy to use. You don’t have to think about cleaning as much because it just does its job. It’s been super helpful for keeping the house clean, especially with pets, and it actually feels worth it.

This vacuum saves time, works flawlessly, and leaves your home feeling fresh and spotless. The suction power is outstanding. It picks up dust, pet hair, and crumbs effortlessly—even from carpet edges and hard-to-reach corners. The motor runs smoothly and quietly, which is a huge plus. The mop feature is equally impressive. The water distribution is perfectly balanced, the microfiber pad glides smoothly, and the floor dries quickly without streaks. My hardwood and tiles look spotless every single time.

The Narwal Flow has completely transformed my cleaning routine and feels like one of the smartest home investments I’ve made. The vacuum and mop work together seamlessly, and the FlowWash system actually lifts dirt instead of just spreading it around — my floors look noticeably brighter and cleaner. Its suction on carpets is impressive, and the AI navigation avoids cables, furniture, and small objects better than any robot I’ve tried before. The best part is the fully automated base station that empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop, and refills water, making the whole experience truly hands-off. It’s quiet, efficient, and saves me so much time. The app took a little getting used to, but once the map is set up, everything runs smoothly. Overall, this is a premium product that delivers premium results — worth every penny.

This vacuum cleaner is very heavy and bulky. As you can see in the video, it gets stuck under our chairs and moves the entire chairs in the whole house. So we are left with two choices, either cancel that area from the mapping or move the chairs first every time before it starts functioning . Because of which I am not able to use the vacuum in kitchen dining and living dining area which doesn’t make any sense for us as that the main area which gets the most dirty. Also, because it has taken our chairs to the ride in the entire house our new home hardwood flooring has got so many scratches and dents. The mopping function releases excessive water, which ended up damaging my flooring instead of cleaning it. The floor was left overly wet, something I did not expect from an automated device meant for daily use. Because of which Our new home builder warranty team has also recommended us that we should stop using this vacuum when they came for the review of the house. Overall, it caused more harm than help. I would not recommend this product, especially if you have delicate flooring or furniture.

I've been wanting to buy robot vacum and mob for awhile. During black friday week, it went on sale. I bought it and I'm glad I did!!! It came fast and well packaged. The design is simple and clean. It was easy to set up. It took about 8-10 min to map each floor. (I live in three-story townhouse and each floor is approx 600 sqft). I then added details like furnitures and rugs which is not mandatory but it's supposed to help the robot to navigate more effectivetly. The robot was able recognize the drop-off (the stair leading to dowstair). I read some review on app being not so great but so far I have not found any major issues yet. I appreciate advanced feature such as multi-floor support, suction boost on carpet, ability to adjust suction power and water flow. Only think I don't like is that it's tricky to zoom in the map and locate the furnitures and such accurately. Maybe because I have thick fingers and small smartphone screen 🤣 My townhouse is hardwood floor with few rugs. I don't have pet but I'm a long dark hair girl who sheds like crazy. I've used it seven times so far and my floors been sparkly clean everytime! My husband is very pleased that he does not have to chase after me with painter tape lol. I was worried about robot getting stuck on rugs/carpet based on some reviews. But so far I have not encountered any probelms. My rugs are only low pile area rugs so I cannot speak for all differnt kind of rugs/carpets. It was so fascinating to watch lifting it's mob when rugs were detected. High-tech station is fully automated including hot water mob washing, hot air drying, self-emptying is 10/10. I've been using little over 2 weeks and have not touched my station except my dirty water compartment. Noise level of the station during mob washing and hot air drying minimal. The station is located on my living room (on the 2nd floor) I can't hear much when I'm in my bedroom (on the 3rd floor) with door open. I choose Narwal flow over other models since it has roller mob, efficiency and high-tech station and that was definately the right choice!!
