IMUSA USA GAU-80306 Electric Double Burner 1750-Watts , Black

I've got a very small apartment, no kitchen to speak of so having a double burner hot plate was a must. After carefully reading through reviews and keeping a budget in mind, I decided on this one. It did not disappoint. I've had this Imusa for damn near two years and it still works perfectly well with high usage. It DOES occasionally shut itself off but that usually only happens when both burners are turned to full heat and will reset if you give it a few minutes. To be clear, I do meal prep two or three times per week. Often making large portions of food and snacks, this thing has been a friggin rock star for my non-kitchen kitchen. I've had this one for two Christmases now, it's worth every penny and I will be buying again when this one eventually conks out. Easy to clean and store, it's a great purchase.

We’ve been using this for the past five months in place of a stove while we’ve been trying to get our kitchen renovated. It looks like it will be at least two or three more months until the kitchen is done, so luckily for us this little hot plate is still working great. Both burners heat up quickly and stay hot as long as we need them to (they don’t turn off automatically like I read in some reviews). This is very lightweight, though, which can make cooking precarious at times. While I would much rather have a stove this has been a decent substitute.

I hate this thing. First of all, it doesn't get hot enough to boil a pot of water. You can boil a small pot of water, like to cook a few eggs but it takes about 45 minutes. Secondly, once it reaches your desired temperature it "cycles down" meaning that the coils shut off and won't come back on until they've cooled. So if you're trying to cook something that requires an even temperature the whole time it's cooking forget about it. And thirdly, it is impossible to clean properly. Yes, you can lift up the coils to wipe underneath BUT they do not come off. The aluminum pan inserts are screwed on so I removed the screws to see how it came apart so I could soak and scrub them but it is actually impossible to disconnect the coils from the wiring underneath. They are welded together. Because the coils are welded to the wiring you can't remove the pans and therefore cannot clean them properly so now I'm stuck with burnt on grease under the coils. I wish I had spent $20 more on something better.

The kitchen in my home is being redone and the old stove has been removed. I bought these burners and they have been a lifesaver. They heat quickly and cook evenly. Most highly recommended.

Until it shorted out today, I was very satisfied with this hotplate. It can boil a pot of water no problem (tho you have to remember the right side is the more powerful one) and the left side is good for simmering. For the price it's very good, tho like burning out in three months knocked off two stars. I think I'll prolly just get the single burner next time cuz if it's not that reliable then I'd rather waste $15 than $30. It's just that most hot plates can't boil that makes this stand out. Like the only time I noticed it took a while to cook something is with boiling, but that's too be expected. Aunno if you want a hotplate that can boil AND will last more than three months uhhh I guess look elsewhere? You get wha'cha pay for I suppose.

I really liked the product in general because the material it is made of is of good quality and the resistance has very good power.

(I purchased this item for my own use with my own money, and was not given it for free. I will update the review if anything changes in the future or any problems arise.) I bought this so I could make yogurt without having to be in the kitchen. I haven't had any problems or difficulties with it and I love it. A couple things of note are that it purposely has a very short power cord for safety reasons so you may need an extension cord, and it slides very easily so you need to be very careful while using it. The burners easily lift up for cleaning. It gets hot enough to boil water, though it does take quite a while (half an hour at least) to do so, but you can't expect too much considering how much less power this draws than an actual stove top. For my yogurt making purposes, where I only need a maximum temperature of 180°F, this is perfect.

Bought this and died within few uses. Returned.

The burners need grooves to rest in. As it is, they move around too much.

Left side burner doesnt stay put where needed But right one is find Tried messaging seller but not working for some reason Id really like to replace it as it does work good

Great product lots of room for 2 pots at the same time.
