Does it give as good a calf stretch compared to a foot rocker?

As I understand it, the foot rocker is used for calf stretches. The Ideal Stretch is used to not only stretch the calves, but also the hamstrings and IT bands. It was recommended to me by my back and spine doctor, and I find that it gives a first-rate stretch to all of the above muscles groups.

Does anyone know the difference between using this device vs a cloth yoga strap for the same stretching exercises? Thank you

Will this item give a good enough stretch for martial arts

Absolutely,syretchrsgrpin,hamstrings and calves in one motion. With pad on foot part ,you can work ankle and foot. Good tool.

Am finding very difficult to keep holding during hamdyring stretch, holding with both hands, need too much energy,my arms exhaust in 10 sec. Anyone?s

I truly do sympathize, but it is concerning that this pulling gives you that much trouble. It should not be that difficult to do, unless your legs are very heavy, or you have profound neurological weakness of arms and hands. You would greatly benefit by using this device to work not just on leg stretches but also to build upper body stamina and strength! Take it slowly, do five or ten reps of the pulling for 20 seconds or as long as you can hold on. Don't give up, do it every day and you will gradually see increased upper body strength. Best of luck and let me know if this makes sense.

It's a little expensive owing to the fact that it's patented but I got my legs back because of this well designed instrument. Not a big price to pay if you consider your health as an investment.
