As advertised. It works. Buy thermostat separately.
Arrived on time in good condition. Works as expected. If you are new to these and using for seed starting, you need to understand you will need to purchase a thermostat separately in order to maintain a constant and optimal soil temp. See attached photos. The mat functions perfectly when coupled with a thermostat and set up as directed. Excellent price as well. Would definitely buy again. Update: you can see in pic I made a plastic tent to cover seed tray. I need soil temps to stay in the 75 to 85 range for germination. With lights on the greenhouse effect creates enough warmth to maintain 80 to 84. With lights off the mat itself will only warm to 77 to 79. This is in a room that's 67 degrees. This still works perfectly for my needs cuz once the seeds sprout the temp will be turned down to 70, but you should be aware of the limitations of this product.

More Effective Than Using Smaller Mats
These larger, wider mats are great for bigger shelves. I have been using two mats per shelf and still have gaps. The larger mats cost a little more, but it’s more cost effective to purchase and power them and there’s no cold/unheated spots.

This really works!
So first it was rolled up so long it was hard to unroll, plugged in and it smoothed out. So this pad absolutely heats the trays and starters. I am impressed with the temp control and dimensions. Well worth the price!

These are great!
I have three of these now. The oldest one is 4 years old and I've used it all winter, every winter since I got it and it still works great. I use their thermostat too, just plug it into a multi plug and run all three mats at the same time at the same selected temperature. Make sure you put a piece of insulation under it so the heat goes to the pots on your mat and not down into the countertop or floor where you have placed it.

Does a great job keeping seedling soil up to temperature.
I don't have a lot to add on this product other than the fact that it works and works well. We paired two of them with the thermostat and they successfully warmed the soil when the greenhouse temperature went down into the high 40's (10 degrees outside - yikes).

Nice size and heat level
This heat mat is perfect for my indoor starters! It can hold up to 4 flats side by side. I leave it plugged in at night and within 4 days my tomatoes and Swiss chard came up! Makes a huge difference in seed growth. It’s a low warmth but consistent heat. And it fits perfectly on my 4’ long tailgate table . I love it!

Plastic memory
Plugging the heat mat in softens the plastic and allows it to flatten more easily. When it comes out of the box it's rolled up and it is impossible to keep unrolled. It is working nicely and I ordered a 2nd one.

Pretty good
Heating mat does heat the seed trays. It isn't adjustable, so you get the temperature you get. I'll need to take a reading to see what that is, but I can tell you it isn't really warm, but definitely warmer than typical ambient room temp (71°-72° at our house.)Be aware it is very stiff when it comes out of the box, and takes a few days of being weighed down to lie flat.
