Works perfectly once set up — great for Pixel users
I’m using the UGREEN Slim G tracker with my Pixel 8 Pro and it works brilliantly. The only hiccup during setup was a phone setting I didn’t realise I needed to enable. You have to turn on “Scan for nearby devices” in the Connected Devices settings, otherwise the tracker won’t appear in Find My Device. Once that was switched on, the tracker paired instantly and has been working flawlessly. It’s slim, responsive, and integrates really well with Google’s Find My network. Great little tracker — just make sure that one setting is enabled and you’re good to go.

Incompatible with later phones
Refuses to connect to my Pixel 8. Definitely purchased the android version. I tried everything I could find online -- nada Apparently they ship these to you knowing that the firmware is out of date and incompatible with the latest phones.

An excellent find! (excuse the pun)
Bought to replace my Tiles at their end of life. Very happy with this purchase. Easy to setup with Find Hub, compatible with Android, and fits perfectly into my wallet. The location tracking is accurate and very reasonably quick to connect. The build quality is good, and compared to the Tile, which I used to have, is good value for money considering the much wider network and no need to download a separate app.

Just a perfect Android Tracker in a credit card size form factor
This is a quite impressive piece of tech, so thin and light and exactly as big as a credit card that forces your brain to believe that it would last for a few years but yet it is doing its job so far with good accuracy. I saw some reviews about the tracker not being paired but I believe it's because turning on this device is not standart. You know most devices require the user to push the start button at least a few seconds to avoid unexpected starts but this tracker would not trun on if you push the small button more than a second or so. I also had my anxiety portion thinking that it's not going to turn on after trying many times pushing the start button a few second and in some attempts 10-30 seconds. But the trick is appeared to be just pushing the button momentarily and the releasing is enough and most importantly only way to turn it on. It should have been designed or explained better but hey it won't need to be turned on again after it's paired for the next 5 years right. When it's turned on and in a close proximity of an Android phone then it immediately pops up a window to pair it. That's it. Now I always will now where is my passport or wallet while traveling. Worths it's value for certain.

Connection problem {Solved}
For starters, I own a pixel 8 which may not be the flagship of Google's products, but it is still an excellent phone with excellent features. When I received the product it was packaged well and the instructions were simple and off. As soon as I press the button to activate the tracker it immediately popped up on my pixel undetected it straight away. However, clicking on it didn't work. It would fail every time. I tried resetting the tracker multiple times updated Google's find my hub updated the phone to the most recent updates as of October 2025. Solution : I initially requested a refund for the product as it was not connecting to the phone even after I went through the reset process of holding various button presses turning on and off Bluetooth, restarting my phone disabling anything that might cause a conflict but nothing seem to work. I remembered I had an old xiaomi phone in a box somewhere, so I dug it out and let it boot up. Excellent phone. By the way, it was charged from zero to 34% in 5 minutes. Just enough time for me to log back into my account and update find my hub and attach the tracker to that the xiaomi phone also had a notification pop-up and it connected straight away, as I hadn't used the phone in a way it was a little bit laggy as you'd expect, everything wanted to update at the one time but all I needed was the find hub so I could register the bloody thing to my account.. know that it's activated. I can go back to my original pixel and it is working as described. The product does seem to be quite flimsy, I have owned a wallet tracker from tile and it was far more robust. A little bit thicker than this item but I think the trade-off with the tile is much better as it feels stronger and more rigid. My tile wallet tracker lasted 3 years before I give up, so we'll see how long this lasts. I will add more edits in the future if needs be. If you haven't heard anything, take it as a good sign. Tldr. Wouldn't connect to my pixel 8. So I had to pull out an old xiaomi phone and connected to my my Google account that way. Once it was registered I could go back to my old phone.

Does not work with Pixel 10 Pro XL
Would not connect to a Pixel 10 Pro XL with all updates applied and all troubleshooting steps I could find online done (including updating the tracker's firmware). It seems many users are having issues with this connecting or not - would avoid.

I recently picked up the FineTrack Slim G and I’m genuinely impressed. Right off the bat: it’s incredibly lightweight and ultra-slim. It slips into a wallet or alongside cards with basically zero bulk. If you’ve ever avoided putting a tracker in your slim wallet because it made things too chunky, this one solves that problem. According to sources, it’s only about 1.7 mm thick. What I like: Set it and forget it operation: After initial setup with the Android/Google “Find Hub” network, you pretty much leave it alone and hope you never need to use it (which in this case, is a good thing). It quietly does its job in the background. Solid battery life: This version uses a non-rechargeable battery (so you don’t have to remember to charge it), and UGREEN claims up to 5 years of usage. That kind of lifespan is rare in trackers, especially ultra-thin ones. Ease of use: Pairing was straightforward, the companion app interface is clear, and I appreciated that once it was set up I didn’t need to fuss with it. Good feature set for the price: It supports the Android/Google ecosystem, integrates with the Find Hub network, and has IP68 water/dust resistance. Solid for everyday carry. Practical for wallet/luggage/travel use: Because of the form factor, you don’t feel like you’re dragging extra bulk. It stays out of the way until you need it. A few caveats (which are minor, given the value): Because it uses a non-rechargeable battery and lasts up to five years, once that battery dies you’ll likely need to replace the unit (unless the device supports battery replacement and this version seems “one and done”). While it’s ultra-thin, that also means you lose some of the “premium gadget” feel (e.g., if you like gadgets to look flashy) but honestly for a tracker that lives in wallet/purse space, that’s fine. Compatibility: This version is Android/Google Find Hub—so just make sure you’re in that ecosystem. If you use Apple devices primarily, you’d need the Apple-compatible version. Final verdict: If you want a no-fuss tracker for your wallet, luggage, or any item you carry regularly and want to not have to think about, the UGREEN FineTrack Slim G is a stellar choice. It does what it says it will. Quietly, unobtrusively. I’m awarding it a full 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.
