The best solution that has been invented ever!! I know Behringer was not the first making this kind of mixing/interface solution, but this XR 18 is the best device I’ve ever used in live concerts. It provides full control of the mix by having ‘all in the box’. Before I used to carry a 100 feet cable snake, a mixer, a rack with effects (compressors, reverbs, delays, EQs, etc) and now I only carry my XR 18, a wireless router and my laptop. The 6 auxiliars are excellent as it allows providing individual monitoring for 6 musicians. In rehearsals you can add three more musicians using the phones jack and the main L & R outputs. The ability to create scenes is terrific, as I can keep the set up for the different artists I work with without the need to start over. The preamps quality is good enough even for recording. I have used in for live performance mixer and as Studio interface and both worked perfect. The only area I didn’t like is the inputs 1 and 2 due to the Z feature. For some reason it amplifies the background noise when using microphones, creating feedback noises or a bothering hiss. You have to play around with the input signal, the general mixing volume, and the mic type/brand you use.

Even though this product is older when it comes to newer digital systems its still a solid sounding unit. Installed it into a church and connected it to a Access Point. Boom.. This thing is just great for its value. I will be ordering the 32 for another church just because of how solid this unit is.

Purchased through Sweetwater on Amazon. The mixer works great for my 4 piece band as a mixer and usb recording interface. I can control it with my laptop or tablet. Had trouble getting ASIO drivers to load on my laptop. Sweetwater tech was able to get me up and running.

Provided app is horrible but there are 3rd Party apps you can use to control it. Starting to like it more and more

It works like a dream! I bought it for a band of 4 musicians (bass, keys, drums and guitar) where each will have their own IEM for church services and any where we might play. It's very portable and works well with my windows computer to control and also use as a DAW. I love it!

Okzuje się, że aplikacja na androida nie jest wspierana przez producenta. To trochę słąbye, że na dwuletnim smartfonie nie jestem w stanie zainstalować zalecanej i wskazanej na stronie producenta aplikacji Jest zbyt nowy (sic!). Aplikacja alternatywna jest bardzo mało intuicyjna i w wersji pro dodatkowo płatna (niedroga - 25zł jednorazowo, ale płatna).

it's really good and does lots of good things, worked really well. I wrote a full review explaining why it's so good, but Amazon didn't like it and discarded the draft and pictures, so you'll just have to imagine Behringer's excellent channel strips and EQ visualiser, the ease of connecting USB to an Akai MPC and routing signals to sample, while sending mix busses to an audio interface. You already know the X-Air is a multi-channel audio interface in itself, after all. And the way it took over from a huge 24-channel beast in just 3U of space? Sorry, I can't illustrate that. It also makes posting screenshots of the desktop app's easy routing and controls, intuitive channel strip and effects, and scene management rather difficult. In short, this mixer is great if you're using loads of synths and want a clutter-free easy way to mix them and add effects without adding more cables, since there are four effect slots and they're easily as good as most low-cost rack/standalone or VSTs (being VST-type plugins themselves). You'll get it set up and working in less time than I spent writing a really detailed review for Amazon so people could see how great it is. Now you'll just have to take my word for it so I can at least give the thing the five stars it deserves.

Una de las mejores.compras que eh hecho en años la app oficial no funciona en algunas tablets, pero puedes usar otras y resultan mejores ojo...tengan cuidado se llega a calentar un poco despues de unaa 2 hrs de uso... pero nada grave... les.recomiendo que usen un ventilador y que no la dejen en un lugar caluroso
