Wow, stunning, eye catching and very durable, but please read this for some safety reasons! We're on our second summer with this gorgeous floaty and it's only ever been used on river floats and in lakes -- super durable! It's clearly enormous, so it's very hard to navigate. Arms and legs don't easily reach the water for paddling unless you're, like, NBA-height. The first word of caution is that out on the lake, the slightest breeze will catch on the tail and head and before you know it, you're pretty far from base camp. It's practically a sailboat. Yesterday my friend and I were floating and lounging and chatting away in an *unnoticeable* breeze on huge Lake Washington; I was sitting on the main part of the floaty and my friend wanted to hang onto a wing and be mostly in the water. When we realized how far from shore we were, and how far downshore our beach was, we got a little worried -- and in only about ten minutes of chatting! The only way to get back to base was for me to jump off, grab a wing and side swim back to shore with my friend hanging on and trying not to panic because she's not a strong swimmer, and we were WAAAY out there. It was a 20 minute swim, the peacock was creating a strong drag even though it was a light breeze, and we were both exhausted and shaken by the adventure. A less strong swimmer or a younger or smaller person might have really found themselves in trouble. So that's my word of caution. It's a sailboat that's REALLY difficult to navigate, so be careful. Oh yeah, one more thing. It's so enormous that one cannot just get back on it once one has fallen or jumped off, unless in very shallow water. Last year in Coeur d'Alene for the Ironman qualifiers, only our own personal 6'3" Ironman could get himself back up into this peacock floaty while in deep water, but he really struggled to do so. While floating the river last year, I jumped off in a shallow spot so I could cool off, but despite several minutes of trying hard, I couldn't get back on before the next rapids. Thank heavens they weren't serious rapids or I'd have gotten injured -- we all "pulled over" to the bank so that I could get myself back onto the floaty. Twice now I've found myself in frightening situations because of it's impractical size and shape. So, although I love and treasure this fantastic floaty, it's incredibly impractical and you'll really need to exercise discernment about where and how to enjoy it.

The feathers keep collapsing inward.

We didn't notice the small hole in the tail until it was used the second time in the pool. The product came in damaged, it was taken out of box blown up and not taken out of the pool, it was only in there a week from the box to pool. Water went in the hole in the tail, I drained that patched it and refilled it. I could not get all the water out, it is now heavy and the tail is flopped into the water. This was not damaged here, not a quality product we will toss at the end of the year and not buy from this seller again. I thought it seemed pretty good quality, I wish I saw the hole right away, I spent more time fixing it than its worth!!

Bought for granddaughter and didn't realize how big it actually was. Plenty of room for a friend. My son gets on it and lounges. This will be 3rd summer and still as good as new. Very durable. Need a power inflator, plenty of compartments for air. It's nice looking & a scene stopper in the pool..

Is a beautiful blow up for the pool BUT lacks quality. Purchased this item to keep ducks out of pool. Worked great but developed a leak in tail! Our of time to return so I am SOL! After checking the reviews notice others seems to be a quality issue. Others had the same problem. CANNOT recommend. Too bad, it's a nice pool float but not worth it if it leaks!!!

Tal como lo describen es bastante amplio, lo llevé a una albercada y se subían hasta 6 niños al mismo tiempo, aguantó toda la fiesta solo la cola se desinfló un poco. Los niños se divirtieron mucho.

Lovely! BUT…it is not holding air, both the main compartment and the large feathers require refilling on a daily basis.
