I’ve had this file for 7 years. It has worked great. It’s a powerful file and is sturdy. You can wash it with warm soapy water and it maintains the level of sharpness for a long time. It’s finally gotten to the point where I need to replace it because it’s gotten a little dull from a lot of use. It still works, but it takes more time and effort to remove the dead skin than it used to. I’m happy that it’s still available. I was worried it might not be because I got it so long ago. I highly recommend this! It’s way better than any foot file I’ve gotten in any store. Before this file I used one of those old school “cheese grater” style files because it was the only thing that would get enough dead skin off, but I also had instances where I filed a little too hard and cut myself. This is the closest thing I’ve found to that level of effectiveness at removing dead skin but without the risk of potentially cutting/hurting myself.

I have been using a pumice stone for decades with decent success. They work well enough that I never thought to look for something else. Just replace them when they get nasty. Then I saw this by chance and decided to try it. OMG! So simple and yet so much better. I really can't believe how much easier it is to hold and use being light and flat with the handle behind it. The different roughness on either side is really amazing too. You can also tell how much you're taking off by looking at it since it's clean, you can see the skin on it. One dunk in the bucket or flash in the shower stream and it's clean. That sounds gross, but when I realized how much was probably getting in the pumice stone all these years despite much more effort rinsing it... this is sooo much better. At least I spared you all a picture! I am legit surprised by how much I like this simple tool. And oh yeah, it's made my feet better with less effort.

Have tried other foot treatments, and this file really does the job, even on tough spots. Big difference after even once use. After a few treatments on the worst spots, I only need occasional touch ups to keep the rough spots in good shape. Note: you MUST use this only on hard/rough skin! Don't miss or slip onto non-hard skin or you will feel it - ouch! Also, use only on DRIED skin, not wet.

Best callus remover I've used; comfortable and secure to hold while using, and VERY efficient. Actually love it but giving it 4 stars because the effectiveness only lasted about 6 months. Pretty pricey for that short a life span only using it maybe every 7-10 days.

This works so quickly and efficiently. It’s much better than similar products.

AWESOME!!! I had some SERIOUSLY cracked heels with big pieces of jagged skin sticking up. My heels were so bad from wearing these sandals and walking around barefoot. I couldn’t believe what my feet looked like on the bottom. Oh my God! I could not get them to heal for anything. I bought a Dremel and that didn’t even help. It was actually too harsh. I bought this based on some reviews and I’m glad I did. Oh my gosh! Like the first time I use this it actually really really helped. So I used it two more times and I no longer have cracked heels. No more painful, jagged edges of skin catching on the carpet. No more bleeding. I have nice feet, but I can’t believe how bad they got from wearing this one pair of sandals all summer. Oh my gosh. I had this problem years ago when I was in junior high with a certain pair of boots that the insoles had worn off. They made my heels get really bad deep cracks. The kind that like never go away. It doesn’t take much to get my heels to crack. I’ve really sensitive skin. This thing really works. I’m glad I bought it. I just keep using it every couple of days and my heels are nice now. Really smooth. Put some lotion on my feet and they look great. I should’ve done before and after photos.
