Dairy Digest Complete 90 VegiCaps (Pack of 2)

8/18/18 While taking one of these bad boys, I thought I should update my review for this product because surely it’s been 2-3 YEARS since I first reviewed it. I’ll let you do the math on how close that estimate was! Apparently, I’m so content using these and they go SO far that it makes you feel like old buddies. Every once in a while, as I take ONE pill, I laugh thinking of all the lactaid and money wasted all of those years. I would give this ten stars if I could :-) I had heard there were more effective and less costly methods of Lactaid but it worked for me so there was really no need to look elsewhere. Not to mention, I never looked on Amazon-only in drug stores and they really don’t have many options. Lactaid started giving me cramps? I’ve been taking it for maybe 20 years or less? It took me a while to figure out what was going on. It came out of nowhere. I FINALLY came to Amazon and luckily, this was the first brand I’ve tried. Not only do you get more for your money, they don’t come in stupid pouches and you don’t have to take anywhere NEAR as many. I had 3 slices of a medium pizza tonight. If I was using Lactaid I would need at least 6 (dosage is 2, and I need a dose for every item). I took ONE. ONE of these and I was good to go. I’m a little bit of a tough case because I LOVE cheese and refuse to accept I’m lactose intolerant. I only limit my intake when I’m low on pills. So, I eat as much dairy as a cheese lover would. Cheese on EVERYTHING. Extra cheese, often! So I need something that truly works because there’s no downtime. So happy and I feel like a bit of a fool for not stumbling here earlier. But again, feel soooooo thankful I found it on my first try. A great deal and a lifesaver!!

I've used these for years because Lactaid pills were no longer effective enough, and I've never had an issue since! I live and die by these pills and I share them with everyone. A bottle stays in my car, I travel with a bottle, I keep them in a little pill case in my purse, if I go anywhere, I have these pills and you should too. I take two with every meal, and sometimes if I'm unsure how much dairy is in my food I'll take them just in case.

Best for lactose intolerance. We've tried them all, believe me!

Works pretty well but I need to take up to a dozen capsules at a time for them to work and that makes them rather expensive to use.

For years i have been taking digestive enzymes, Lactaid and its generic versions from big box stores. nothing was helping, and then i gave up cheese/butter/milk products as best i could. but i love cheese. i wanted an answer to why this was happening. i looked carefully at the ingredients of all these supposed "aids" for dairy breakdown, and found one common denominator that i thought might be a clue to my difficulty. Magnesium Sterate. look it up. i then looked at other supplements or drugs i had been taking in the past that i stopped because of same issue, unrelated to dairy. some form of the bad kinds of Magnesium was in them all. BINGO. Without grossing anyone out, trust me, i could not eat cheese or take one of these Lactaids without being extremely close to a toilet after 20 mins. it was the ultimate embarrassment making me want to give up eating. but then I decided to try these because they were the only one i could find that didn't have the magnesium sterate. (well, i did find another brand, which claims it is a once daily pill, and i ordered that too. but it really isn't "once daily", but acts the same as these....take before you eat.) my problem has been solved. i do eat cheese now, but in moderation. and i have explored the Violife vegan cheese products and find i like them for a change of pace without needing a pill. the price was far better than the others too. i keep one bottle in my kitchen and one in my purse.

Yay! I can eat ice cream again without the tummy rumbles (and you know what else)! Very easy to swallow and a good price (since I don't take tjem every day).
