Cherry MX Blossom Switch Kit

I only needed to replace one key, and this kit provided the perfect solution. The switches themselves are top-notch, maintaining the high-quality standards that Cherry MX is known for. The wide variety of switches helped me understand the difference between the three types. I’d say it’s worth it to test what kind of switch you want and then look for whatever brand you like best. Some of the clicks ones from this brand sound a bit cheap.

I think the MX Greens are pretty well the perfect switch for typing since I first bought a switch tester in 2017 and purchased keyboards with Greens from Cooler Master, RAZR and Mechanical Keyboards Inc. After awhile you couldn't find the greens in commercial keyboards and I settled for MX Clears and Blues in split keyboards from Mistel and CloudNine - neither of which give a very satisfactory typing experiece. I was delighted to find the switches here, as well as the now very affordable Alice kits for an ergonomic board and have built two keyboards with them so far. My only reason for the four-star review is that the pins on these are exceptionally weak and prone to bending, even in comparison to the cheap switches that come with some of the kits. I resorted to using a needle to prepunctue the hole for a few that were collapsing after carefully re-straightening the pins with a tweezer. Still way worth it for that satisfying click!!

I have a Corsair K70 PRO MINI Wireless RGB 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard that had an unfortunate accident when my son spilled a drink on the keyboard and three keys were sticking even after cleaning the keys. I didn’t realize that the keys were replaceable until I did an Amazon AI search and it listed products that would work for it. I ordered this due to its reasonable price and overall reviews. I liked that it had 23 keys, tools and instructions for replacing the keys. It was actually very easy to replace them. It took under 10 minutes to replace three keys. It has been months since I have replaced them and they feel as good as the original keys and are a durable. I was worried that they would feel or sound different from the original keys but it feels identical. My keyboard is hard to find new so I was grateful I could repair it and keep it going. I still have plenty of keys left should a similar issue arise again.

These sound great. They're pretty easy to install. Function just like my old ones but better. Just as bright if not brighter than my old ones. They seem to be pretty good quality

Super easy to put in, nice and smooth . I would rate it about the same "feel" as my razers orange switches. Hopefully they last longer than the razer ones. Note. I ordered two so far to replace my razer blackwidow 75 switches.

They work just fine, my only complaint is that the packaging doesn't grip well the switches in transite. They all came loose and one of them arrived with bent pins.

Ho comprato questi switch per la mia Keychron K8 Pro che montava di fabbrica dei Gateron Red (lineari molto morbidi), inizialmente ne ho comprate solo 2 scatole per provarli sui tasti alpha (lettere, numeri, simboli e barra spaziatrice) essendomi trovato molto bene ne ho acquistate altre 2 scatole per cambiare tutti e 87 gli switch. Danno un'ottima sensazione, li ho presi con la speranza di fare meno errori di battitura, essendo sia tattili che più duri speravo di ridurre di molto gli errori quando non si posiziona il dito perfettamente su un tasto. E così è stato, anche se il dito dovesse sfiorare i tasti accanto a quello che volete premere questi non registreranno l'input. 4 stelle e non 5 perché ho notato una cosa piuttosto spiacevole, lo stem (la croce sulla quale si installano i tasti) è leggermente più grande rispetto agli originali della tastiera, sono comunque della dimensione giusta in quanto si riescono ad installare, ma per installarli è necessaria una forza molto maggiore, e soprattutto quando si vanno a rimuovere i tasti sono così serratamente installati da far venire via tasto e switch assieme, come potete vedere dal video allegato alla recensione. Leggendo online c'è chi dice che questo sia dovuto al fatto che alcuni switch Cherry (i grey ed i clear) siano stati inizialmente studiati per utilizzi industriali, e hanno voluto quindi garantire una installazione più solida dei tasti per evitare che potessero rimuoversi subendo dei colpi. Non so quanto questa teoria sia vera ma sembra proprio che sia normale così, alcuni switch cherry hanno un'installazione molto più solida di altri, qualsiasi sia il motivo. Molti utenti su vari blog di tastiere meccaniche hanno notato questa cosa. Alcuni per ovviare al problema suggeriscono di lubrificare il contatto tra stem e tasto, altri di limare lo stem, altri ancora di scaldare i tasti con un phon prima di rimuoverli. Non è un motivo per non amarli, danno una sensazione alla battitura eccezionale e se come me non siete dei battitori particolarmente precisi vi aiuteranno di molto a ridurre gli errori. Sono sicuramente più rumorosi dei lineari che avevo prima ma nulla di cui ci si possa lamentare. Durante la spedizione gli switch sono stati scossi abbastanza da ammassarsi nella scatola uscendo, fortunatamente solo uno su 46 aveva un pin storto, che sono comunque riuscito a raddrizzare senza fatica.

io li uso per una Trust GXT ed ogni volta devo dissaldare i rotti e saldare i nuovi ma vale la pena!
