JCs Wildlife 6-Pack Mr. Bird Nut Cake, 8 oz

I was so happy to find this product because every place I had purchased seed cakes, they were always broken up. Unfortunately it was shipped in a soft sided envelope (not a box with padding) and a couple of the cakes were so broken up I couldn't put them in the hanging dispenser and just had to scatter them on the ground below. That is my only complaint with this product, as the birds devour them completely in just a couple days. I just ordered them again and hope the shipping is better this time.

I purchased birdseed "suets", they are meant to be placed in a bird feeder as a 'cake or pad" that slip into a holder. The suets I received were mailed in a bag ( not a box) and where delivered completely disintegrated to a point of a "lump of loose seed " that can not be used as intended or repackaged , although the outer packaging is in tact. UNLESS the seller changes the shipping container to boxes, I recommend never purchasing this product for home delivery. Now I am spending wasted time figuring out how to ship a lump of loose seed.... dissatisfied and frustrated ! UPDATE : I contacted JCS Wildlife and the sales associate was very understanding , JCS shipped a reorder at no cost in a BOX . The package arrive within 48 hours , intact and undamaged to much satisfaction . Thank you very much for the response ...you have a loyal customer ! JCS is a "results - not excuses" company that I plan on utilizing in the future !

My backyard birds are very happy with these...lots of visitors every day. Two cakes arrived broken which did make them a bit smaller...the crumbled part couldn't go in the feeder. Not sure if they were like that before they were packaged to be mailed, or if they broke in transit. Box wasn't dented, but it could have been tossed around. Regardless, the birds keep coming so breakage is a minor issue!

I absolutely love this product. J.C. Wildlife provides the ultimate bird seed cakes. No messy suet just seeds and nuts. They attract a wide variety of birds year round. They are an exceptional value with minimal packaging that is easy to open. My birds and I are hooked on J.C. Wildlife for life.

JCs Wildlife and Mr Bird NEVER ship products in this condition! I've ordered from both for years with total success! This package sleeve was scuffed and torn. Inside the blocks were broken and the packages were dusty. We were totally out of seed blocks so we are trying to feed the seed but we don't have a loose seed feeder. JC's Wildlife and Mr. Bird would be horrified to know their names were associated with any product in this condition. I only chose a 1-star rating because the tool forced me to be able to submit this feedback.

Birds enjoy it as do the squirrels who raid my feeder. Only down side is you can only put out of days it isn't going to rain. Rain dissolves the honey or whatever holds it together and all the seeds end up on the ground. Easy to use. Buy it for convenience more than anything.

My birds love this nut cake and it attracts a large variety of birds also! I have purchased this product from the seller multiple times and am always happy with the product.

I have numerous backyard birds of several species that frequent my bird feeders. I use various types of nuts, seeds, and fruit combinations as packaged by different companies. The birds love seed cakes but did not eat these.
