Nice to have a metal gate rather than a plastic one. We have two of these, they look much better! Easy to install, instructions were great. The gates open and close well every time - as long as you adjust the fixings properly, the closing mechanism holds it securely shut. Easy one-handed open which is great when carrying a baby! I believe there is also a y-spindle available for this gate - we didn’t end up needing it, but that’s useful if you have round bannisters (for example)

Excellent product fitted the wider doors I have due to living in sheltered apartments for wheelchair access. Easy to assemble and excellent quality of produce and so easy to assemble. The opening of the door system is very secure keeping my furbaby safe behind the gate but complex and sturdy do I can leave my apartment door to the corridor open so she can still people watch but I am no longer concerned of her escaping from the apartment. It looks and is top quality at the price it was an excellent purchase which I would highly recommend to any body for a child or a pet and it arrived the very next day as promised

Pros... - Seems similar build quality to the cuggi brand we have had for several years - Opens both ways - The black looks nice - Can be constructed alone - Lightweight - I feel its worth the price I paid especially for a wider gate Cons - The instructions are terrible, there is an entire booklet and it not clear which part you are supposed to be following, this is a safety item so I think instructions should be clear! - Even though I tightened it as much as physically possible it hasn't closed all the way, it does lock in place but it means I can open by just lifting and not using the actual lock, I don't have kids so its no issue to me but something to consider if you do Will update if anything changes

I wanted an expansion gate in black and this fitted the bill for my stairs, sturdy and good fit. I particularly liked the sliding locking mechanism over other brands where you have to lift up. Wouldn’t hesitate to order another should I require one.

But the lock was broken how I can get a new lock kindly guide me.

Excellent sturdy gate, fits perfect and love the black colour to match in the house, very easy to install and has a good lock feature that little hands will find impossible to open. Would recommend for a excellent safety gate

Bought this gate to stop dog’s getting upstairs it’s very sturdy does the job and colour nice gate is easy to open and shuts behind you if you want it to some reviews complain about the white sticker on bottom but to be honest you don’t notice it when up but iv coloured mine with black marker looks fine would definitely buy again if need one

Easy to install, lock mechanism isn't great but works. It's just not sturdy enough with the extensions and too much movement on the gate with it locked. Clear movement between the the extensions and the main gate, I would not install this on stairs, risk is far to great. Avoid.
