磁気コンパスはピンからキリまで百円でも買えますがぁ・・・、こちらはピンです。 子供の頃からオリエンテーリング資料や、軍事雑誌の写真で見ただけで、本物を手にしたのは初めてで、それだけでも私にとって貴い品物です。 ミラー付きで目標と方位を同時に確認できるとか、天体観測に地上からの角度が測れたり、高機能なのも素晴らしい。 そして、タイトルにもしたフィンランドにある精密機器メーカーの製品である。マリメッコやムーミン製品も買って、ロシアとの闘いに協力したい。 フィンランド式サウナで整う前に、地図上で自分の位置を確認したい。「何様だ？」社会での自分の立ち位置が確認できない私です。

大変使いやすいミリタリーコンパス

もうかっこいいです。 災害対策の為コンパスを探していました。 こちら大好きなフィンランド製品だときいたので 一生物だと覚悟を決めて購入しました。 持ってるだけ＆眺めてるだけで大満足だったのですが、 地図の見方を知りたくなりノウハウ本も買いました。 まずは机上で知識を学ぶとこから。

凄く軽い。カプセルの中身は非常に良くて安定して北を指すしなめらか。 ただ造りがちゃち。笛が付いてきて本体に装着できて首に下げたりできるけど、取り外しに考慮されているのに動く範囲が狭くて邪魔になりがち。 コンパスの針も北側が赤いだけなのでちょっと暗くなると真っ黒な針に早変わり、もちろん夜光なんかついていないので夜はライトで照らしてみる感じ。 レンザティックコンパスより軽くて快適かつ機能的に同じなのでそこが売りかと。

災害対策用のEDCポーチに入れて持ち歩くために、壊れないように蓋が閉まるオリエンテーリングコンパスが欲しくて購入しました。軽量で目的は果たせました。

バイクのタンクバックの見える所にマウントする為に購入しました。傾斜があっても(約30度)スムーズに作動する構造なので(見た目があからさまに違います。同じ名称の商品で仕様違いもあるので注意が必要です。)そういう使い方には、これ一択です。もう少し夜光塗料の性能が上がると嬉しいです。対策として夜光シートを下に敷いて夜間の認識の手助けをさせてます。

This is the one to buy. Quality and usability are good. You can't go wrong with this compass.

針の回転はa-10より僅かに遅いですが、そのぶんブレがありません。以前売っていたmc-2はプレート左下に大きく「mc-2」とだけ書かれたモデルだったようですが、今回手元に届いたのはmc-2Gというタイプのものでした。cmとinの目盛りがあります。ルーペも良く見えます。15ミリの水平器もギリギリ蓋の中に収まりますよ。あと、説明書が日本語じゃないと言っている方を他のスントコンパスを含めよく見かけますが、日本語の説明もあります。ちゃんと説明書は読みましょう

Did a lot of research and this one meets my needs at the right price and weight. As some online research will tell you, the numbers are not printed into recesses in the plastic so will be vulnerable to wearing off. I intend to reduce this risk by treating it with care and minimising friction contact by keeping it in a soft, snug pouch when in my pack. Should get a good few years use I think.

This compass is a bargain! It's a great size, and lightweight. It's both precise and accurate. I appreciate that it floats. The mirror is clear and can be used for signaling. For ~$20, you can't go wrong. Do not be put off by some of the negative reviews. I hesitated buying this one, but trusted my gut knowing this is from Suunto. I do not think it's fragile as some reviews have suggested. It'll hold up just fine being shoved in a pack, or taking falls on a trail. Though I'm sure if you smash it with some rocks you can break it. The mirror is also not cloudy as some have reported; you need to remove the film protecting it. If you want other features, or "higher quality" materials (which will weigh more too), then you're looking at something in a higher price point.

Muy buena calidad

La meilleure boussole que je n ai jamais possédé ! J utilise des boussoles silva depuis 20 ans, je ne sais pas pourquoi c etait pour moi la marque de référence, depuis quelques années je trouve que la marque silva made in china ne tiens plus la route, j ai repris il y a quelques mois la expedition neo S qui fonctionne bien mais a des finitions vraiment mediocre (120 euros quand même !) et qui de plus ne possède pas le système globale (pour hémisphère nord et sud) je me suis alors penché sur cette version en G soit (global) l aiguille fonctionne sur toute la planète. Alors déjà la finition suunto ... Merveilleux ! Mais la différence de qualité est vraiment flagrante, on a un objet très bien fini avec aucun jeu, les graduations de pente sont géniales, le boitier est solide et léger... Je ne repasserais jamais chez silva et resterais chez suunto désormais. Je recommande les yeux fermés super produit !

Not in a shiny blister pack..! But at least, it points to north 🤔 (tested on several locations)...
