I have been using this product for 2 years. I love the coverage and texture.

Goes on as black as a black canvas and good coverage. There is very little smell to it. I let it dry overnight, so I'm not sure exactly how long it takes to dry completely. There is no leakage from the container. I paid about what I would expect for it. Would recommend.

Lovely, works on plastic

Covering a large, white canvas was quick and easy with this black gesso. It goes down smoothly, though just a little thick, all the better for excellent coverage. I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn't hesitate to purchase this product again.

This acrylic is wetter and more saturated in nature. Which it does make it easy to spread, but not as easy to build up. Granted I've only used it straight out of the jar. Easy to clean tho. The texture is not graint it's very smooth. The quality feels good.

I can tell the difference in this primer and ones I've used previously. Great texture and color quality, good value for the money, and smooth application.

I would have given 5 stars, only because when I received it the lid was so loose that it just lifted off when I took it out! If it had been jostled just slightly more in transit, I would have had the gesso all over the box. Typically too there is usually another seal on the inside to avoid this so perhaps this is why it is less in cost than others. Anyway, the product is very smooth and easy to use. Very much liked the application of this. Will buy again.
