Foam Sheets

These are awesome for little ones to learn and have fun matching shapes and colors.

My picture shows a standard 12 oz soda can to give it a bit of scale. these sheets are BIG. I'm a novice in the world of EVA craft foam, but i do know that trying to piece together 2 or 4 smaller pieces to make a background or a frame for anything is about twice (or four times) as hard as doing it from one piece of material. If you have a project that requires a big piece of foam - as a background, or especially as a frame--chances are very good that this pack will be the solution to your situation. As shown in the picture, there are 12 sheets; each color has 1 sheet, and there are 2 sheets of white. As mentioned in another review, there is a strong (and fairly unpleasant) odor when you first open the package, but once i took all the sheets out of the package and flapped them around for 10 seconds or so, i didn't smell it anymore. (i think this "outgassing" is fairly common with foam products--had the same issue when we bought out foam mattress and a yoga mat recently--and while it isn't pleasant, it's over and done with fairly quickly and in the long run, it's not a big deal.)

They're foam that we used for a project making wings for pool noodle dragons. They were easy to cut and hot glue to the noodle. They were smaller than I expected. It was also odd that some of the colors came with 2 sheets and some came with 3. If you have a craft where you need equal amounts, having a 3rd sheet but not a 4th is inefficient. In the review, it asks me about adhesion, but no side of these is sticky, so I'm not sure why they ask you to rate that. Also the sheets are not perfectly even or perfect rectangles. They aren't off by much, but if you are trying to use as much of the sheet as possible, having equal sizes would be nice.

These have been great for a fine motor activity for my students. They are easy to use and the sticker size is perfect for their preschool hands. They are ale to remove the back of the sticker easily.

These shapes are brightly coloured, foam, adhesive-backed shapes as advertised. They come in a generous quantity and were easy to use.

The foam is sturdy for crafts and cane in a good variety of colors, but OMG, the smell!
