Great draining big flow rate have these hooked up to my gutters... working great so far... used gorilla glue hot glue to connect to PVC.. very solid way to connect.. not an issue if you buy two or more but it only comes with one end connecter to attach to the PVC drain pipe.. they are a little pricey but for the width and flow rate and brand name it is worth it :) i like the color as well matches nice with big box store pea gravel or river rock

This is my second purchase of these. First one was about 5 years ago and it is doing well. Have some runoff from a hill and using these so the yard does no bog down. The kit includes everything you need to run one pipe out the side (either 3" or 4") and one out the bottom. It also has markings in case to need to cut it to fit. Didn't need that but it seems to be a smart option. Very well built, and an easy recommend.

Solid construction. I used it for a drain next to a gravel driveway and it worked great. Multiple options for pipe connection.

built good no complaimts

Not necessarily for a DIY'r unless you have some construction skills. I used three units end to end, capped opposite ends using JB Weld because I never have trusted the bond strength of silicone. Needed to drain out the bottom using a PVC elbow so I had to cut out the entire inside diameter, required a Roto Zip with extended cutter to reach the depth required so plan on some extra effort with the bottom drain port if that is what you need. Supporting the assembly on the bottom with a few paver bricks is a good idea, as for the rebar mounting clips I found it best to bind the rebar to the plastic clips using rebar tie wire. If you don't bind the clips to the rebar (after establishing correct slope) the angle you have placed the units on may shift by concrete surrounding the housing and float up without you knowing it!. The elbow I used on the bottom discharge port didn't fit well so be prepared to check the fit of your PVC drain components, you may need some creative fastening to make sure the PVC doesn't come off during concrete placement. The end to end connection mechanism built into the trench units could be better but if you are careful handling the connected joints they will work, if you are expecting a full locking effect it just isn't there.

Not the strongest but works great

The end caps for this need redesign. The one that adapts for a pipe slides into a groove in one end only of the drain. It is ok but can the fit is loose enough such that it can pop out easily. The cap to seal off the other end is a joke. There is not groove for it to fit into and no other way of permanently attaching the cap to the drain! I tried pvc cement put it doesn't work on this plastic. I ultimately just held it to the end of the drain by packing soil around it. It's not going to be watertight at that end at all. Very poor design for the end caps and little to no instructions on how it all goes together. The design of the grate and drain look to be adequate for the task. It's just the end caps that are poor.

I was looking for this size for a while to replace a broken one.After a little bit of chipping and cutting I got it in.

Measurements are exactly what was described, great quality and easy to install. Color is a little brighter compared to my old one in my garage but is alright as my old ones may have faded a little due to UV rays for 8 years. Other than that I am very satisfied with the outcome of my repair project. This is a replacement order I received as the delivery made a mistake the first time as I got a box of diapers instead of thjs item. Courier mistake and was corrected by Amazon in 4 days. Only issue was my project was delayed but overall I'm happy with the result and service.

Great product but does not stay anchored in ground if overwhelmed with water. Anchor point requires more than an anchor spike.
