My child enjoys these workbooks. We have used kindergarten reading and math and now 1st grade. Very colorful and follows along/supports the reading eggs online program. We do use reading eggs online so my child enjoys seeing the characters from the program in the workbooks. Overall very satisfied.

Love reading eggs and this book goes great with the following the online programs or on its own. This is the only program that has gotten my son to read.

This book used with the online Reading Eggs make it a much more complete program.

I would purchase this product again. I bought it to give additional support/practice to my 1st grade son in reading, and we framed it as "extra games." Pages are colorful, but not overly distracting, and the activities build on each other to increase competence. Emphasis is on phonetic reading (not just memorizing sight words). Depending on the confidence level of you child, you will probably need to go through the book with them, as he or she will need help to read directions, so this is not an entirely independent activity. I'm pleased with this as a resource.

Love these books!! Make sure you purchased a kindergarten book first as the first grade book starts after on lesson 61 We do not pay for the online program to go along with it but the lessons in the book are plenty! Use these along with sight word flashcards we started with the kindergarten reading eggs and I can see a huge Improvement looking to purchase the first grade book already!
