4-4.5 starsThis was a really good story. I liked both Mack and Josie very much. Their story was pretty much what you'd expect based off the book description but is was well written enough that it was still interesting enough to keep me engaged. This is the first book I've read by this author and I liked it well enough that I'll probably read more of her work in the future.Josie is a counselor who's currently between jobs. Josie grew up with a single mother that was constantly falling in love with the next guy until he broke her heart and then she'd fall in love with the next guy. Because of this, when Josie met a nice guy while in college she stayed with him for 5 years...until she couldn't take staying in a "nice" relationship any more. She felt guilty for doing it but broke up with him rather than drag it out any further.Mack is a vet and works in a practice with his sister, Sol. Sol happens to be Josie's BFF and they grew up together. Because of the friendship between Sol and Josie, Josie and Mack have always been friends as well but nothing further has ever come up between them. Mack just got divorced 6 months ago after his wife cheated on him because he was "too nice".Josie is staying with Mack and Sol for a short time but has decided to travel a bit before she settles down. She's staying with Mack and Sol until she leaves for London (her first stop on her travels) where she'll stay with her mother for a while (her mother finally having found "the one" and is living with him happily in London). Sol and Josie were having a drunken girls night the night before the story begins and when Josie wakes up she's confronted with Mack teasing her about the drunken night. Mack soon finds out that Sol is trying to push Josie in to rebound sex (something she's also been trying to push Mack in to). They even studied the Kama Sutra and made a list of sexually adventurous exploits that in the light of day has Josie blushing badly (and she's a redhead so it really shows). Mack teases her about it but also starts to notice that he's seeing Josie as attractive in a womanly way...something he's never felt for her before. Josie is starting to notice that Mack is sexier than she'd thought but still sees him as a "Nice Guy" and is determined that any nice guy will only do the missionary position and be boring in bed (she does have a lot to learn).In her annoyance over Mack teasing her about her list, Josie decides to go to a bar and see about picking someone up. Thankfully, Josie realizes that maybe this wasn't the best option but still ends up getting herself in a bit of trouble that Mack saves her from. The attraction between them spikes and things get hot and spin out of control. Once the door between them is open, both Josie and Mack have a hard time resisting each other. They know they can't have anything permanent but figure they can spend the next 2 weeks having rebound sex with each other and then go back to being just friends when she leaves for London. The things is, with their previous friendship it's hard for them just to keep things at straight sex and soon both of them are wishing they wouldn't be split up at the end of the 2 weeks. Things don't go smoothly and there is a bit of drama to deal with. Thankfully they both come to their senses and the story ends with Josie and Mack together and planning out their HEA.This was a really enjoyable story. I really liked Josie and Mack and couldn't help rooting for them from the beginning. The story was well written with some good emotional points as well as hot sex scenes. Overall it was a really good story and I have no real complaints about it. I'd recommend this story. Thumbs up. :D

But what is more mortifying is that her best friend Sally’s brother who is also her friend has found the list.I loved this book. It was a fun and refreshing spin on the off limits friend trope. From the moment I started the book till the very last page I was hooked. Okay and Mack was extremely hot and talented. Very, very talented. Who would expect a hard working veterinarian to be such a bad boy between the sheets.Josie, who is leaving for London in two weeks, has just ended a long relationship and flees to her best friend’s house, the plan is to stay till she leaves, catch up and have some fun. She’s off on an adventure soon, the last thing she planned was to have rebound sex as Sally keeps telling her she needs. She hadn’t also planned on writing that damn list either.Mack, Mack, Mack. The man who burnt his bed after his long-time girlfriend dumped him, is a great vet, hot, lives and works with his sister who has been telling him since his break up that he should be indulging in rebound sex to bring him out of his funk. But poor Mack’s libido has fled after being called nice and sweet as his ex walked out the door.When Mack casually states after reading Josie’s list that she is not the type of girl who would follow through on it, Josie doesn’t take it well and this leads to a super-hot confrontation between the two. When the dust settles from it and they come to an agreement to work on her list for her remaining two weeks.No feelings, no strings, just ticking items off the list and showing Josie that sex can be more than beige. And they quickly get around to marking things off. With each encounter getting hotter and hotter.“Hold onto my shoulders.” “Because I’m about to number ten you, and at some stage, you will lose the ability to hold yourself upright.”But the inevitable happens and they start to fall for each other. But can they overcome their past relationships, his sister’s worry that she will have to take sides if it fails to find the happy ever after that is standing waving its arms at them or will they decide it was just a rebound fling after all?There was so much I loved about this book. The humour and banter between them, the sizzling chemistry, the hot sex and I do mean hot, think mutual masturbation hot and the tenderness that is there even when they are trying to keep it out of the fling.“Josie was going to complete the list-come hell or high water. Or dislocated hip.”There is a scene that almost made me cry it was heartbreaking to read and Mack’s reaction to it was, ugh, I wanted to hug him sooooo bad. But by the end of the book I was sitting here with a smile from ear to ear and sniffling happy sniffles.I am already looking forward to more from this author for the Brazen line and think it’s time for a re-read already.

I loved this quirky romance story. The story was fun and the banter between the characters cracked me up.Josie is staying with her best friend Sal and Sal's brother Mack before she leaves Oz for the UK. Josie had been through a break up with her ex fiancé when she realises that life was a little dull with him. A drunken night with her best friend leaves Josie making a list of things that she wants to do to improve her love life. Mack discovers the list and offers to help her work through all of the items but can they leave it as just sex or will they allow their feelings to interfere with their plans to keep it casual?Mack is a brilliant character, I loved the fact that he allowed both sides of his personality out to play.I'll be looking out for more from this author.

Another fantastic read from Amy Andrews so glad that she is writing for brazen love these books,Loved this story and character's of Single school counselor Josie Butler just made her a sexy to Do list to her horror her Best friend's Brother finds it! Veterinarian Mack Kennedy can't believe what he is reading from this sweet next door girl whom he has know for so many years,He decides that he will be the one to help her with her list with no commitments just fun then walk away so they both think! Loved there chemistry between them both,

Josie and Mack are great Characters. I won't bore you with the blurb as you would have already read it. I did cry when little Mollie's horse had to be put down. I personally think that the sex took over at one point so much so that you couldn't wait for it to finish so that you could get back to the story. But the actual storyline was great and it had a wonderful ending. I would really like to read a HEA for Sal - Mack's Sister as I think she totally deserves it.

This is worth the purchase price for the alley scene alone HOT,HOT,HOT , AND the icecubes, cuffs,and blindfold scene ! Absolutely loved it ,all of it Well written,and not mindbogglingly farfetched,as so many stories in this genre often are This really is very good Ending was predictable as is pretty much always the case with these types of books ,but it was fun getting there ! Recommended

I'm really disappointed with this book got really in to it then the ending was pretty predictable and cheesy, really hoped there would be a twist of some kind to the ending :( if the ending was different ,exciting ,dramatic ect this would be a such a good read!
