But, when the lights go out in a storm, its operating power switches instantaneously to a 12 volt Solar Charged Deep Cycle Battery. The XD1228 does not even blink. And, with its modest power drain, it can run for days with just occasional sunshine. I like the XD1228 so much, I bought a spare. Need I say more? Review: Great deal , great radio. - Match for radio already in the car. Easy to set and good sound for the money . 5 min install because it was the same as the other one.

Great deal , great radio.
Match for radio already in the car. Easy to set and good sound for the money . 5 min install because it was the same as the other one.

This was a steal at the price! Great product and the radio fit perfectly in the dash of my Silverado.

Cheap but it works. Kinda.
Cheap unit that works but has some issues like volume knob not functioning properly. Sometimes it doesn't even turn on when the truck is started.

Great value
Received early, and finished the install last night. I purchased this to be the stereo for my mancave. I mounted it in a cabinet and purchased outdoor speakers for it. So far it works great. Update: ABSOLUTE JUNK! Cd player quit working within a week. DO NOT BUY THIS POS!

Can't beat it for $40!
Great replacement radio for $40 bucks. Easy install. Can't beat it with a stick.
