I purchased one of these and was so impressed, I am buying 6 more. I plan to download all of my familys pictures in the Picture Keeper so I can give each one of my siblings one, and put one in a safety deposit box at the bank. This is the most wonderful item I have ever purchased. I have pictures from my great-great- grandparents up to my very own great-great grands and my children safely stored in the Picture Keeper.My siblings, children, grand children, and great grand children are over the moon. They can't believe they have all of these photographs in this one lillte gadget. Very easy to navigate and works quickly!!! Love it! Love it! Thank all of you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

Not knowing how much memory a photo uses I was worried that the 8G wouldn't be enough. I was happy to find that it held my 900+ photos with room to add more. Such peace of mind knowing that my photos are backed up. Great product - easy to use. Really, just plug it in and let it go. Yes, I do realize I could have backed up those files manually to a cheaper flash drive. But I'm willing to pay the few bucks extra to have the process made easier.

I love that you don't have to download any files - this unit works straightaway. It finds all files of the kinds you specify and saves copies of them to the Picture Keeper in the same organization as on your hard drive. That is very handy. Also, the Picture Keeper has an excellent Slide Show feature that displays full screen! One caveat so far: The Instruction manual is well written and understandable, but it's wording doesn't always match that of the screen layout/wording. But with a bit of experimentation you can quickly learn how to do the things you want. I'm buying 2 more!

I take a lot of pictures and upload them to my computer and was concerned that if my computer was corrupted (even though I have virus protection on it) I might lose all of them. Picture Keeper has solved that problem. It is very easy to use and keeps all the pics safe and protected. It only downloads new pictures that weren't already on it and it has a menu so you can pick the perfect picture for your needs. The software is built into the stick so once you plug it in, it starts, and if it doesn't you click on the world in the bottom left corner of your desktop to bring up the menu, click on computer and the drive will show up with picture keeper on it. Double click it and you are ready to go. Easy and efficient. A definite keeper!

Wanted to use this as a photo backup tool, however it did not copy all the photos in named albums, ran out of room very quickly. It was easy to use, however the second one purchased to continue the backup did not load at all. Have had better luck with a drive stick.

I have never backed up,photos before, and started to worry that someday my computer would crash and I’d lose everything. So I purchased a 16 go Picture Keeper after a bit of research. It worked just as stated. I was shocked at how many photos I have. The first Picture Keeper filled up after approximately 7200 photos. So I purchased a second one. Sure enough, it continued where I left off. What a perk! My only complaint (I’m not very tech savvy) is I didn’t check the settings to include videos. I have quite a few videos of grandchildren’s concerts, etc. After I checked my Picture Keeper after I was done, I discovered the videos has not been backed up. I’m started over and saw where I needed to check off videos. So the second Picture Keeper finished the photos, then went back and did the videos. I filled up a second Keeper. And bought a third. It finished the job. I probably,should have bought a larger capacity to start with, but just didn’t realize how much I have! Anyway, all photos and videos are now backed up. Very pleased with everything. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

So, I ordered a 2 pack because I have a reasonable amount of pictures on my computer and extra hard drive. Loaded first flash drive and waited while it found all of my pictures and then began the backup. I was notified when the first drive was full and inserted the second drive. It did its thing and I was notified I still had a large number of photos to back up. So, I ordered another 2 pack @ ANOTHER $60. Could not get #3 to pick up where #2 left off so I deleted all the photos from #1 and #2 and started over. Same thing: #1 filled up and I inserted #2. #2 finished and said it had saved x# of photos and x# of duplicates were not saved. Now I have #1 that is full, #2 that is partially full, and no use for #3 and #4 (at ANOTHER $60!) I open a folder that I know I have a large amount of pictures in and I see maybe 4 pictures in this folder! Where are the rest of them?! Same thing for several folders. There is no sorting and arranging the photos so you can find them easily. I would have been better off to just get blank flash drives and cut and paste all of my photos. They may not be organized, but at least I would know I had them!

Worked fine. I had to order another one because all my pics didn't fit on the 8gb. I would order the bigger one.

I am very pleased with the picture keepers I was surprised at how you operated

This is the second Picture Keeper I have purchased and will be a second backup for my pictures. It is easy to install and it automatically finds all of the pictures on my computer.

Was skeptical at first. However bought it took a chance the best thing I bought on Amazon however I didn’t order a size big enough so ordered another one

I found these a bit small for my needs so I gave them to my daughter as I have a lot of photos
