LE LEMATEC Air Compressor Regulator with Dryer, 1/2" NPT Heavy Duty Air Pressure Regulator, 150 PSI Inline Water Separator, Easy Drain Valve & Adjustable Lock - AS209

Painting my son's truck at home, one part at a time (cab, bed, fenders, parts, etc.) and set up a temporary paint booth in the driveway. As a moisture separator this has been fantastic! So easy to drain the moisture. The only issue I have with this is that it is a bit difficult to get the regulator set to the pressure I want. Adjusting the pressure up to a set point works fine and it locks at that pressure easily, but when I have to lower the pressure, it seems to vent air for a long time and drops lower than I think it should. It will eventually stabilize though. I found it is easier to lower the setting further than I need, then remove the air supply and then reconnect and adjust the pressure up until I get the setting I need. Once set, it doesn't change, which is the most critical part.

Product is built well. Unlike others I've tried in the past.

about 6 months after install on my big compressor it started to leak down which was unusual as I have a shut off valve right past the regulator and water separator and it was OFF. The leak was coming from the connection between the head of the water separator and the clear plastic bowl. It's just so POORLY designed and manufactured. It's OK to eventually leak (not within 6 months though) if it's designed to have easy replacement parts that are readily available and somewhat standard (orings). I disassembled it, inspected everything and realized that it was UNREPAIRABLE. JUNK Chinese parts and engineering. the clear plastic bowl had already started to develop cracks too...

Works good. Filter is much larger than anticipated. My only complaint is the cup is a little weird but no leaks, no issues. Overall it's a good budget home garage filter. I use it on my 60 gallon compressor at home and seems to do its job. With that said I also have a automatic drain but I do still see a little bit of moisture in the cup.

Feels substantial. Heavy duty. Functioning normally. Nice product.

After installing this filter, the issue with water in my air compressor line went away. The filter was easy to install and it was at an affordable price. Thank you for such a good product!

gauges work well would buy again

I was excited when I lifted this heavy unit out of the box. I was a little concerned when I noticed the relief valve at bottom of bowl had been knocked out but put it back in, needs to be packed better so it does not slide around in box. I installed and hooked up the air but when I turned the knob for the regulator the whole unit moved. I tightened to no avail. I tried several things including making a gasket but nothing worked. The unit would move every time a turned knob and if I tightened the nut to much the plastic threads failed. The mounting bracket needs to be a solid part of the unit and this would be an awesome product. I did return item.
